This is the kind of singing we had in the little church that I used to attend. Brings back good memories.

This is a perfect example of what makes me so sad when I see SG artists all using tracks. I wonder where great young Christian musicians with ambition to play are to go now. I'm so thankful that I was fortunate enough to come along in the end of an era. The one with a band.

DIRKWORK52 as a Southern Gospel artist my self I agree with your commment about young muscians as well, HOWEVER, the sad thing is the day of groups traveling in the big buses with their 5 or 10 piece bands are few an far between, However being on the other end of this alot of groups won't travel, my home church recently had The Collingsworth Family, they wanted something like $5,000 to come they couldn't do that HOWEVER they did come on a faith donation and it worked out!

@preachboy3 My apologies. I didn't get your question. No... it was recorded at Opryland for a show that ran briefly in the mid 90's on TNN.

@warningsofwrath.., Your joy abounds! I can feel it! Why are you so fascinated with this video if it bothers you so badly? You just spend WAY too much time hating. I assure you I have a KJV bible, and I've read it. I just can't find the same anger in mine. "bible rebels against bible reporovers" hahaha... that's clever. Again you fascinate me. Now.... go back to painting hate signs and slaughtering sheep. I've got better things to do.

@warningsofwrath With a sight called WARNINGS OF WRATH.... I know your salvation is a happy, joyous relationship with Christ. You have a right to your opinion, as I do mine. But personally, my salvation isn't about condemning people. If you see every person with hair longer than you feel is "appropriate" according to the pictures in your bible, you'll never be able to win souls to Christ because you've already condemned them. If we meet as God turns me away at judgement, I'll apologize.

@DIRKWORKS2 Isn't disobedience to Gods Word sin ? So if these men disobey 1 Cor. 11: 14 that would be sin. Absolutely ! ! !

@warningsofwrath I know these guys personally... and I ALSO know them ALL to be FINE, CHRISTIAN, GENTLEMEN. YOU interpret their hair to be sin and to condemn them. Your interpretation of the scriptures (which I know well) is not only skewed by some "issue" that YOU have, but the hatred I feel spewing thru your posts here would be interpreted by MY personal beliefs to be FAR more "sinful" than their hair could ever be. I don't know anyone who would read such rubbish and want YOUR happy salvation

@warningsofwrath it still blows me away when i hear the old legalistic views of man not God being preached.God is all about the heart his children not what they look like.maybe you should use some of that energy you have fired up there and instead of interpreting the bible to suit your own opinions get off your backside and actually do some work for the Lord and ask him for forgiveness of your attitude and some humbleness while your at it.Don't fall into the trap of sitting on the God's throne.

@warningsofwrath There's nothing to be said. Everything I've watched you do on your site on youtube from videos you post are done with hate and malice in everything you say. Jesus walked this earth with love for everyone and I've seen you show none in what you say. I read the King James bible. Our fundamental differences aren't in what we read. It's in the interpretation. I choose to believe I'll win more souls to Christ with love. Not hateful words and scare tactics. I'll pray for you.
