Great video! The stop bolt is a little confusing the first time you use the trimmer. I designed and used a prototype micrometer stop for a while to see how it would benefit the end user. I stop using it after a while because it needs to be adjusted between each cartridge every time you change over. The stop bolt is a one time process for the cartridge it's adjusted for. We include 7 or 8 extra 5/16-18 bolts and lock nuts to cover most applications and it's a simple trip to hardware store for extras if needed. We didn't want to do a proprietary design that makes you purchase something like this from us, although you can if you want. One thing I will point out is that the stop bolt only needs to be turned in hand tight once adjusted. We have trimmed literally thousands and thousands of pieces of brass with the stop screw hand tight without any issues. This just makes it easier to swap for the next cartridge. Thanks again for a great review and we're glad you like our machine. Jason

Life hack regarding the micrometer comment: If you measure the pitch of the thread, you can determine the advance per turn. Example with easy numbers… 1/4-20 TPI (threads per inch) means .05” (1.27mm) each turn… meaning a quarter turn will advance .0125” (.32mm) . This is a bit crude, but perhaps better than a total guess and check. Metric thread pitch is the distance between threads in mm, so a M6x1 would be 1mm (.039”) advance per turn or .25mm (.0098) per quarter turn. Knowing the actual thread pitch of the screw Henderson used may allow you to get nerdy and machine yourself a micrometer screw… maybe a good addition to your store!

Pete, why not go with Giraud trimmer that measures of the neck vs Henderson that measures off the case length? They both trim and chamber the case.

Hi from Australia, did you say you literally cut the American plug off and fitted one to suit 240v outlets? Have been considering buying this trimmer but the 110v turned me away. Also digital vernier would be great for fine adjustments from bolt head to nut face!

Great video brother. However, I am slightly confused about indexing off the base instead of the shoulder. It seems that if cases stretch any differently by a few mils or so, you won't know if it is due to neck or case stretch without verifying each. So it se

So it seems it should be shoulder bumped first in order to set and forget if indexing from the base. Otherwise the net neck lengths would be inconsistent and too short if the shoulder needs bumping. Where indexing from the shoulder would be true and consistent neck length. Does it matter if the shoulders need bumping?

This is a great product. But bro, you kind of forgot to tell people that this trimmer is more for the prs, benchrest shooter. Where you may only load small lots of ammo. Say 100-200rds. For the calibers that are considered to be high volume .223, 308, and a few various others, where ultimate accuracy isn't so nessasary. (Training ammo, or 3 gun situation) A progressive type trimmer setup might be a better investment. Keep em them plates ringing

The lame screw in the middle as a stopper is definitely very lame ! 😒 inconvenient, hard to get , if you have big hands ✋️ 😤 the RCBS adjustable locking wheel should've been implemented on either side of the guide rods , faster and more precise !
