Wonderful narrative and beautiful belongings BUT as we move into a new age, we must continually advocate for these belongings to be returned to its place of origin.

I agree but some of the areas in which these pieces originate aren't the same. The people may no longer appreciate them and may just end up selling the work for money to a collector.

@@jborth2010 Not true. Am from that part of Nigeria and we want these beautiful artworks created by our ancestors back home. They are not just art but have cultural, spiritual and historical significance to our people.

It’s painful that Africa don’t know the worth of these. And for these to be looted and still remain in the museums till this day says a lot

Amazing.. and I have a Benin African Mask from "Ivory Coast" my favorite piece of all.. But I just purchased a "Dan Ghost Mask"
