This is so special, I know it’s a thing that happens every day, but as someone whose father embodies none of the qualities of this man and holds none of the ability to love and cherish a daughter, I can’t help but think it’s still a wonderful miracle that makes the world such a better place & it should never be taken for granted. May you create just as many moments of everyday love and miracles in your marriage, bless y’all.

@zggks506610 ай бұрын
That was funny. But for those who do not understand this is “the lie” Apart from the ones for entertainment purposes, there are no Camels in Türkiye. When something is rare you can’t trade with them. Stereotype& perception vs reality This sometimes happens with Americans too (US citizens) , for many years I have worked internationally, I have been asked many times if we were riding a camel to work. At the first few times I thought they were joking but I soon understood they were dead serious. 😂 So two truths and a lie , the lie is obvious. Or he had been mocked by the guy and his companions. 😂

I passive-aggressively used a father's wedding speech to make fun of my unmarried boss. She was upset I had signed up for a one-person shift. One of our student leader's responsibilities is organizing who works which shifts on the schedule, and my boss scolded him for not noticing I had signed up to go solo. When she asked him if she thought I could do the shift, I answered for him with a firm "yes," because I felt belittled by her. She said she didn't think so, was all "I've told you not to sign up for shifts by yourself, I've been very clear about that, I don't know how much clearer I can get for you to listen" (something like, that, so I'm not perfectly quoting her), and she told me I need someone there to give me instructions and guide me. A couple hours later, after the bride's dad's speech, I said to him in front of my boss, "That was one nice speech, sir. Made me excided for when I get married someday. [I frowned]. Man, I hope I don't end up in my 50s having _never_ been married...especially if I'm still working these wedding receptions." How obvious is my secret insult?

For those wondering, the cost of one camel is about 5k. So basically the cost of transportation to Canada would’ve eaten up any profit. Also, it costs about 2k per year to feed a camel. Which probably is cheaper than his daughter.

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. It does seem that nearly all fathers are hoping that their daughters never date or get married and remain single for the rest of their lives. Romantic relationships seem like a bad thing since there is a lot of dangers when it comes to them. The overprotective father thing is proof that romantic relationships are a bad thing, and this world would be a much better place without them. If someday that the human race ditches the concept of romance and romantic relationships, and got rid of stuff like dating and marriage, fathers would be happy about it since they wouldn't ever have to worry about their daughters ever dating if that ever happened.

That’s for the dummy Americans who believes all the shit is put in their mouth. After industrialization and modernization since 20th century, camel lost their importance and nowadays they are only a sport and tourism material in Turkey. Hence the camel population in Turkey decreased in number of about 1.000 recently.
