So beautiful . The first time I was in New York, USA I was in my mid-twenties and had no gray hairs. My strait natural charcoal colored hair was destroyed from sun and blow drying. The only salon that could get me in for any kind of treatment was listed for African and Cuban ethnicities. (I'm a fair skinned Native American Indian/Scot-Irish) Though all the amazement of others, I sat for a henna treatment for half the day. 😆 MY HAIR WAS BEAUTIFUL afterward, and I will never forget the experience. I use Rajasthani henna from Henna Sooq every 6 weeks and it gives my hair a beautiful burgundy ish hue. The brand I use is pure with no other herbs and I mix with plain hot water and add aloe powder for moisture. I apply on damp, freshly washed hair so the color will really deposit, leave it on for 2 hours, rinse with a conditioner and moisturize and style. I follow with my regular wash day the next week. You may get a better color deposit by using pure henna mixed with nothing else and applying on wet hair. Your result was beautiful though, hair looked really shiny and healthy. The instruction say for only a half an hour. You let it stay over night. This is probably why it didn't work.....
