Can you please do a video on T cells research and this illness (or any virus/post v-ax care) and the best handling of it if you have P.O.T.S or feel you are getting an autonomic dysfunction reaction? Anything extra that may need to be done because of the P.O.T.S. or so you can prevent autonomic dysfunction reasctions? I felt like bone broth, lots of garlic, and nutritional yeast needed to be added to my treatment plan. Along with D, K2, zinc, lots of C, and turmeric ginger tea, stevia electrolyte drink, and Melatonin at night. Should Cal, Mag. D. also be taken at night while ill or skip it during that time? I took it, but wondered if I took the vitamins with the wrong combination. I was so thankful to own these things before I got ill and I know I will likely get ill with this again and again, as will most outside a miracle v-ax-ed or not. Also, when should those things be taken and what is the right combo(fats, D, and K2, right? but Cal later?)?
@SRose-vp6ew2 жыл бұрын
It also seems my friend is now also getting P.O.T.S. can you explain this? Thankfully, I was able to help her, so she won't pass out and get hurt, she is one of the nurses. Many of the nurses seem to have the P.O.T.S. heart and passing out issues now, more than reg. population, is that stress? They act like I used to, BEFORE I learned about nightly nutritional yeast, stevia electrolyte drink, and seaweed chips. I know you have to be careful how you talk due to people picking and choosing what science is allowed and what doctors and scientists get to speak and what, so wrong. This is also happening from our medical college and most scientists and doctors are okay with being controlled and told what to push without question and no spoken concerns or questions allowed. It's shocking! I truly feel it can only be spiritual, because it's not science or logical. Although some are starting to be less..? Controlled? Less silent about concerns? They seem less willing to be bullied or made to bully those with reasonable and expressed concerns. Maybe because many have also had the illness, understand it better, and fear it less. I don't claim to know, I hopefully am allowed to still ask questions and seek the truth. What is scary to me is how that was not allowed locally in our medical college, that's just a fact. The vitamins I took while ill were also not part of treatment given. I am so thankful I got to stay home even at the peak of Delt... with oxygen because, I knew what the hospital would be like. I saw doctor prescribed drugs and encouraged vitamins and movement denied in hospital for others as out of "policy" in favor of days of dehydration while drugged not to move as they were told end of life care was the only way they could see family again; I would have happily died in my home over that. Some are starting to question if much of what happened was really best or even okay. Back to my question, is there any new research on P.O.T.S. and this. I got more ill than anyone I knew with it in my age group, or even decades older, but I have P.O.T.S. I work daily to deal with.

My Alopecia Areata that progressed to Universalis is going into remission on keto-carnivore. I am SO stoked and excited. My body is slowly healing, teensy fair hairs appearing. I can be patient, well sort of, I really really want to be able to go to the hairdressers again instead of ordering plastic hair wigs. And all my body aches and pains have disappeared - all that inflammation is clearing up. My knees - I was having the horrors of maybe facing knee surgery in the coming years they were bugging me so much but now that pain is gone! And my back and lower back. The only reason I know I have multi level arthritis in my spine is from x-rays a few years ago. I don't have any pain now from being keto-carnivore less than two months!

Saw Palmetto and especially Stinging Nettle Root significantly helped in reducing my DHT, it's within normal levels, however if not taken every/every other day, dht levels rise once more, so it is not a permanent solution. I found that Alkaline water can keep my DHT down as long as i drink up to a liter of it a day, I don't have to take saw palmetto/nettle root at all, the PH value of water that i buy is 8.8, I also supplemented magnesium in big amounts.

Thank you for taking the time to discuss this topic which most don't speak about, hear about or know about. This started in my son when he was in grade school. It started with his eyebrows and we never thought anything of it, while under his long hair there were patches missing with areas of baldness that we didn't know about until a barber mentioned he may have a scalp fungus. Looking into it with a dermatologist, we were told there wasn't very much out there for children because most studies were about adults. He received topical steroid treatment on and off for a couple years and eventually injection of steroids throughout the scalp. He's still dealing with it, now it's eye lashes and he just finished highschool. We're seeing a dermatologist again for the first time since before the lockdowns. We were told of new treatments, so hopefully it works along with your tips we are grateful for.

Hi Dr. Berg, thank you for all your posts. They are helping me to improve my health a lot. I have to give you a little history to find out what had caused my Alopecia, I was 35 years old when I had to escape from Iran to Pakistan with 2 young children without my husband, due to my belief in Bahai faith. That was very frightening and stressful. 2 years later in Australia, I had to have a hysterectomy, which only one over was left. Finding a job while learning English and trying to pretend everything was good so my kids don't suffer was very hard for me. I used to cry a lot away from my children. About 6 or 7 months after my surgery, I noticed there was a round spot behind my ears without hair, and gradually, I got more spots, and they merged. Now, I only have a hair line left. Aldo, I am now 67 years old , I am very upset and embarrassed about it. Is there anything that can help me, or is it too late? Kind regards, Legha ( lia)

@Jteja011 I had to go backwards, starting with the alopecia. Took me 14 years to figure out all the puzzle pieces. A year ago my stomach was even more bloated than usual, I was avoiding all my intolerance foods so I didn’t understand why. I got a SIBO test and learned about the SIBO. I’m still finding stuff out after that comment - issues with some of my digestive organs, for who knows how long.. I also have the MTHFR gene and was an alcoholic for a bit so I have reason to believe I’m B1 deficient, which is a MAJOR cause of SIBO that basically nobody knows about. So now, I’m starting at the top and letting the chain resolve itself. I’m supplementing with B1 and taking care of my digestive organs. Rather than fighting the symptoms with steroid shots and getting nowhere. The way I’m doing it will prevent relapses of alopecia.

Suffered significant Alpopecia Areata during my teens when at school and the occasional patch some 50 years later. After about a year with no improvement, my mother noticed a goitre in my neck and I was subsequently diagnosed with an over-active thyroid gland. Seemingly, these 'co-incidences' can happen, but anyone who suffers Alopecia might want to consider having a thyroid function test just in case so as to rule it out. When my hair regrew again after the thyroid function balanced-out with medication, it grew just like babies hair, super soft and so much so that people I knew would like to stroke my head! As to the occasional later patch, I rather put that down to stress.

I just want to add I have had AA since I was 4, every year 1-3 spots occurred. Around age 21 I read articles about the links between gluten intolerance and alopecial, I stopped gluten for 5 years and never once had my hair fall out. Then I met my husband who loves all things gluten and because I was never formally diagnosed with Coeliac or Gluten Intolerance I started eating it on a regular basis and my hair started falling out very soon after. I continued eating gluten for a year and my hair continued to fall out. Then I stopped and haven't eaten any ever since and now haven't had a bald spot for 7 years. There is some sort of relationship between my AA and ceasing gluten consumption. So as a non costly alternative wanted to let others know just in case it's the case for them!

As a person who have suffered from eyebrow loss for more than 7 years the remedies you counted are all valuable but I would put primary emphasis on FASTING. Body has a natural capability to heal itself if you don't overload it with the excessive amount of food especially unhealthy junk food and keep yourself out of the stress. Hence fasting is the secret button that you should hit to reset whenever things go wrong with it. I recommend 40 days of fasting with the rule of having your breakfast just before the day and dinner after the sun goes down, this would give 15-18 hours of break for the body needed. Another fasting method is water fasting, but before jump into this make your research properly and get your body ready for it with some intermittent fasting excercises. Include all the necessary vitamins and minerals counted above, fermented foods as a fast breaking meal. You will completely heal yourself.

@@lancer717 the brand is "maple holistics" on amazon. I dilute it with coconut oil from the baking section in walmart. You'll need to heat up the coconut oil to mix it because it's in a wax like state until it gets hot. I find rosmary oil has a slight burn if it's not diluted.

I developed alopecia and other weird conditions after a bought of COVID…. Had very high fever for 54 hours. I’m happy to report that my organs all checked out OK and came through unscathed and I never had trouble breathing. But now that’s all over and I have this hair thing….small potatoes compared to other possible enduring things, but still is very devastating.

I have frontal fibrosing alopecia and it has been quite devastating for me. My dermatologist told me my hair will NOT grow back and prescribed a bunch of antibiotics as well as advised I can take steroid shots on the scalp to slow down the process. I refused the steroid shots and didn’t want the antibiotics. I am happy for this information I will try them

I had 5 and 6 at the same time. Started noticing the beard. Then later at the hairdresser she noticed an area in the back of my head. Took about a year from having the full effect of the alopecia, to hair beginning to come back in those areas. I took a lot of vitamins and minerals (including some of Dr. Bergs), CBD oil capsules, used oils that should be mixed and massaged into the scalp (eventually I bought some bottles of a product named Hairspeed). Had to use products to camouflage it. It was a nightmare. Then I also got another autoimmune disease which required a steroid cream. About the time when I started using that cream, was when hairs were starting to grow back. The hairs that started growing back, came in as thin white "fairy" hairs for a while. Then later the areas came back with normal hairs, but with white hairs mixed in. Now years laters, I still have the white hairs appearing. What triggered it? I was definitely stressed at work for a long period. Also it was in the beginning of covid lockdown. And I definitely had too much sugar and carbs.

We have used a mixture of almond oil and rosemary oil and apply it onto our scalp before bed at least twice a week and it is definitely helping. We have also been adding Viviscal pills to our daily intake. We see improvements and are staying positive. I hope you find something that works with your body. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto years ago. Mine was connected to BII symptoms and after removal of the implants the diagnosis was no longer showing lab work. medical labwork. With me it started with a full year of ibs that turned into PSC. I lost 2/3 of my curly hair and had no clue who to turn to. Decades later I visited a dermatologist in Switzerland who diagnosed alopecia androgenic and gave me minoxidil tonic 5% one time daily without the propyl alcohol in it but based on glycerol. That helped. With alcohol i got huge itching and couldn tolerate it. Before i stepped into a derm office i did try peppermint oil with a carrier oil which helped but it was a huge effort with my long hair as it required daily washing (drying out my hair even more). I also use supplements like D3 and zink but can't say it does much for my hair.

I'm a very big fan of your videos doctor. As someone who has been fighting with male pattern boldness and talking to thousands of men with MPB on the forums since the age of 18 I have to say that all but 1 remedies mentioned in this video are extremely weak for fighting DHT. What works: Finasteride - the best for fighting MPB although has some bad side effects for 20% of users. Rogaine/minoxidil (mostly useful for the crown area Microneedling with minoxidil Vitamin D - most people are vitamin d deficient. Vitamin D is needed to code hormones Biotin 2000 ius/day most people cannot get enough biotin from their daily food intake. Ketokonezole in shampoo- very weak dht blocker but might as well use it if you're going to shower anyways. Anything that reduced stress The following have very little if any effect: Laser light therapy (laser caps) Stinging knettle root Saw palmetto Any topical oil
@timjuke9502 Жыл бұрын
I will agree that any oil in the hair has very little affect on Alopecia if at all, but there is so much research and even people that I know that use Laser Light Therapy for Alopecia. It does work for a big portion of people to at least some degree. The key with any Treatment for Alopecia is to start it early, obviously if you have almost no hair in an area Laser Light Therapy wont do anything but that goes for Finasteride and Minoxidil as well. I took Fin for a year and it did absolutely nothing but slow my hair loss down a bit but I was already at a Norwood 3. For me I have tried a lot, Minoxidil, Fin, Microneedling, vitamins, Ketokonezole Shampoo. Nothing worked for me for regrowing hair, only slowed it down a bit, but it wasn't enough to where it mattered. I gave up and now I am at a Norwood 4 without Vertex loss. My Hair loss has slowed down significantly naturally. My only options now would be a hair transplant, although I have retrograde alopecia so it probably wouldn't last as long or just get a very expensive Hair System. For those that don't have any options left, I hope that someday within my lifespan someone can find a more effective treatment or even a cure.

Its at my temples and no matter what I cant get the hair to come back. Ive even tried a derma roller thats supposed to bring blood to the area to heal and kick start the folicles. But nothing after trying for years. I noticed this happened after my father passed away which is 6 years ago now. Ive tried a lot of different things you have on your list, and nothing

Thank you so much!!! I have had alopecia areata since so many years. It started when I was only 34. But it really went wild after my house burnt down, when I was 38. I have autoimmune diseases (Neurodermitis, Fibromyalgia) and also suffer from complex PTSD. The latter doesn't let me sleep since so many years. Now, that I am in therapy, I can sleep about 6 times 3 to 5 hours per week , but for years I most often only had 8 hours of sleep per week. This must have of course consequences on the immune system. Besides, I have too little vitamin D in my blood, even though I take 1.000 iE per week. It was only 4 ng/ml, now it is still only 12 ng/ml. I will rise my vitamin D intake now. Also my B vitamins are extremely low. And as I learned only recently, I have begnine tumors in my brain, one of them is named Hypophosenadenom in German. The problem I have with dermatologists since I was 38 is, that they immediately and without doing any diagnostics say, I have a usual hormone change due to climacterium, even though I still have my period, now aged 58. I never took the pill and all women in my family went through climacterium with over 50, some even had babies in my age.

I had alopecia which I fixed by chance. Every time I tried to be extra healthy and exercised I increased my consumption of runny eggs (undercooked) which in turn made my Alopecia worse. I stumbled across an article where it mentioned that undercooked eggs causes biotin deficiency. I stopped eating raw eggs completely and it never came back. This is obviously anecdotal and I am not a physician, but hopefully this might help someone somewhere if they have not tried this.

I am 34, i inherited male pattern alopecia from my paternal grandfather, i started noticing change in my hair/thinning around 2015, when I was 28. Although I never used Finasteride, I did use Minoxidil, Castor Oil, Rosemary oil, some other oils. I've been also massaging my scalp for over a year now. It has all together slowed my alopecia so far, although i still haven't dealt with causes of my daily stress. I'm doing a lots of cardio (swimming and walking), and some bodyweight exercises. I hope I'll try other things from your list, including eliminating social media use like Facebook and dealing with my mom's tumor treatment that is going well so far and some other things. I am also back to Minoxidil. So yes, I do belive these things work altogether. I don't expect my hair to be what it once was when I was 16, but not seeing (much of ) your scalp under bright light is achievable goal, I hope.
