My hair loves Amla. I saw the thickness in my hair within weeks of using Amla. When I make my mask, I use Amla, fenugreek, aloe powder, and coconut milk. I really tell the difference in moisture when I use the coconut milk

You can here a pin drop in the salon when I tell my stylist I dye my hair with henna and indigo. No matter if I tell them I use pure henna and pure indigo. They still don’t understand. To them Henna = all dye containing henna = evil for hair. Even though when I first sit down they rave how beautiful and long my hair is for my age. They don’t say , “for my age” but it’s implied. Lol

On the hub’s profile as a decade long user. Don’t you love how they RAVE about your hair, then if they HAPPEN to catch a SMALLLL red area & ask why, you tell, then it’s “Why not use a rinse?!” Me: BC it’s not NATURAL!!! Them: But you don’t know what’s in henna EITHER! Me: 🙄 Gurl trim it & move on… you want this. But you up-selling…

I asked my hair stylist about Henna and she became quiet and then started with an attitude. I've been going to her for over 4 years. No more. I cut my own hair, save on the tip and the attitude. Best thing I could of ever done.

Thanks for this weeks update. And thanks for going deep into the curly girls experience with hair. I've always heard as a little girl how thick my hair is. I'm 48 and it's only in the past 4-5 months I've come to learn I have fine hair, but just had a lot of follicles, so it seems like 'Thick' hair. Being in my late 40's and having deficiencies, I've noticed thinning and breakages. I'm high porosity and been caring for that state a lot more this past year. My hair drinks water and gets dry very very quickly, so I've been making more masks. Amla, clays and aloe vera powders are my faves I do 1-2 times a month. The next month I'll switch up and do clay aloe and hibiscus, the next month I might add chebe poweder. I'm mainly going by how my hair feels that month. But love your content and recipe ideas for strength, thickness as sometimes I used fenugreek in them as well.

I am slowly working on my journey. I have lots of half dark cobweb fine hip length hair that likes to float in the breeze. I have a lot of sparkly silver grey that I love and have done the indigo only challenge 2x now. I find it is good at countering the natural red highlights I have but is a bit drying. the first attempt was with salt which was a major insult to my hair. the 2nd was with aloe still drying but not as bad. I have one more package of indigo which I may use this week to see if doubling the application a few says apart actually will give me the greenish hue.

Hi I am new to your channel. I have already subscribed. I feel that this video was especially for me. I am figuring my natural hair out on what it like and don’t like. I don’t have a cosmetologist to go to they all took my hair out. I have to rely on you now to help me. I have low porosity curly 3c 4a hair very dry. My hair don’t like hardly anything. It don’t like coconut grape seed almond or any of the heavy oils. It only like jojoba oil It don’t like any store bought products I have tried them all i just get hair fall from using them. It only likes powders. I just started using shakaiki as a shampoo it liked it I have bhringraj and Amla powder I am going to use that as a deep conditioner. I just ordered your red rag and indigo to dye it with I have gray and black hair and I want it all black. I also ordered your Amla and aloe Vera powder to use with the red rag. My hair is growing back with the help of doctor putting me on biotin and vitamin d. do you have any simple recipe for me as far as deep conditioning I need moisture the water just beads on top of my hair I have to rub it in in order for my hair to accept it. I also have fenugreek water and Rosemary water that I make. Will just the Amla and aloe Vera powder work or do I need to add another powder. My hair only like simple

Interesting 🤔 YOUR story. I stopped buying over the counter because certain jealous people were sabotaging my products with things like NAIR AND PERM. YES !!! PERM / RELAXER they were black females and one white woman. They AAALLL had bad hair!! They never took care of it to get it healthy, so they came for me!!!! Now I never show my hair 😭 In order to protect my spirit and sanity!! I stay covered. If your black and have a certain grade of hair some people tend to feel some kind of way . I can't control my DNA 🧬!! WHO CAN!!!?? SO IM A JUICE AND BERRIES 🍒 PERSON, IF I CANT BE RESPECTED BECAUSE I DONT HAVE 4C HAIR then they don't need to see it!!! Period. And no I don't have a Jerry curl, or LOCS.

I also need to know how to moisturize after deep conditioning. My hair don’t like butters it don’t like leave in conditioners I tried the lo method once it accepted just the Rosemary and fenugreek water and then I applied jojoba oil it was nice and curly will that be enough or do I need to do something else it only lasted a few days

Can you use aloe vera juice with henna? I have very picky dry hair that loves fresh aloe vera juice/gel. My hair tends to tangle easily without it.
@HennaSooq2 жыл бұрын
We'd recommend aloe vera powder rather than juice, for the juice can take away from the color.

I just started with Henna Sooq products for my fine, curly, grey, thinning hair and let me tell you…my hair is no longer shedding as it was! Used Red Raj and Indigo 70/30 and though it did not completely cover my grey, I have a beautiful brown with bronze highlights. I used the Goddess this past week and it to was great for my hair! I’m trying to grow my hair out and have ordered more products.

@chloemclymont66902 жыл бұрын
Yes.
@lisadunk3232 жыл бұрын
Depending on what Ayurvedic powder you use. Some powders are high in protien. Make sure you follow up with a moisturizing deep conditioner. Also space them out. I do a protein treatment on my low porosity hair every 7 weeks.
@HennaSooq2 жыл бұрын
Yes, your hair may need that if you are not using henna or products that contain henna, because henna behaves like a protein.

Hi. I have a question. I love your herbs. Been using your Amla, Zizyphus powder and Rhassoul. Switching them up periodically. Awesome! But is it safe for me to add a little bit of Bentonite clay to any of these powders or would this combo do more harm than good in the long run? Love your videos btw. Keep them coming. Looking forward to your response
@HennaSooq2 жыл бұрын
Bentonite clay is fine to add to any of the products.

Does henna work on dark brown hair, cause I want to dye my hair light brown/copper red. Do I have to do it a couple of times or?
@HennaSooq2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you would need a couple applications to achieve a lighter color. But, because you have dark brown hair, your hair will only lighten so much after a few applications for more of a reddish tone. To achieve light brown/copper for dark brown hair chemicals would be needed.

We recommend using one of our shampoo bars, like Mad Moisture. hennasooq.com/hair-care/shampoo/ Amla and Shikakai are good herbs... but they don't provide enough moisture for the hair.

I've been using ayurvedic hair for a while now and notice no matter how many times I strain the fenugreek there are always little pieces stuck and left behind. The more I try to wash it out it ends up becoming even more dry and feels striped. I also have a hard time with finding a leave in conditioner to help bring back moisture. I try to make my own and it doesn't pan out. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you @Hennasooq
