Love the enormity, but I just can’t shake that it’s a Mopar. Born a Ford guy that bailed the day I had to replace the 351M in my Fathers ‘67 Galaxie, (he has the 428 pulled in favor fuel mileage after purchase in ‘76) as I was 16 and loved hearing the Glass Packs, holding her in low gear Jus’ a lil too long… Anyways, after this Ford experience, I jumped ship for GM, (‘69 SS396 Chevelle drivetrain transplanted in to a factory 4 Speed ‘79 Calais) but admit that Ford is likely the better of all the major marks, (shut the door test-for sure).

How do you lose the functionality of a truck using the ecm? When I think of functionality I think the truck still has a bed. That’s usable. The truck can still be driven. That’s usable. So the functionality is still present. The radio works. That’s usable.

@101317 101317 I had an SRT that dyno'd at 513 hp and I couldn't launch it hard anywhere on the street. Twice that power would be amazing but you could really only let it off the chain on a prepped track and even then it would take some work to get it to hook up. These are the greatest days ever for muscle power.

So with the front drive shaft connected the HP will be more like 765HP which is still awesome but a little misleading to say the truck has 865HP but it sure would be easy to make 1000HP to all 4 wheel's.
