I've been listening to boogie woogie for decades and believe that Henri Herbert is the greatest boogie woogie pianist in the history of the genre. No one paid me to write this.

The greatest pianist of all time is Oscar Peterson, and I'm sure Henri would agree with that too. Oscar's talent was on a whole different level, but I agree Henri is a superb pianist.

I’ve never heard anyone play piano like this guy ! Is he “The Robert Johnson Of Pianoforte” ? He has that “one man band Bass Line” going at the same time as the Rhythm Lines in the Right Hand, and talk about changing it up , and keeping it going, sheeesh. The video of him in the Mall doing the Boogie Woogie was what brought me here to watch this video. I don’t play piano in particular, but I know Amazing when I see it and here it, and this is it !
