As a classical pianist at a conservatory, but also as a gigging blues musician, this is really special to see. Always nice to see people getting back to what they love! It can be incredibly beneficial to just improvise over a 1/4/5 progression, not only to improve one's classical skills, but also for their soul! Boogie Woogie and Blues is some of the most pure music out there, it just makes you want to dance!

Holy Mackeral!!! This guy may be either one of the best or The Best boogie player I've ever heard, and I've heard a lot of em. This guy's got the real feel, in my book, and the chops to go along with it. Whewwww! Marc Trainor.

What I like about watching this video is how the two people right behind him react. The Asian lady looks all full of joy while the dude next to her is like, "So he can play the piano. Big deal."

Happened upon this video after browsing few viral videos of street piano performances. While those were great and entertaining (and much more popular) this one was like watching Michael Jordan or Messi compared to kids playing in the streets :)
