Memory lane for me, I had a red chopper Mk2, gear shift was handle look …great fun Xmas day 1973….went everywhere….utterly brilliant times…..love your videos and series…and I agree, wave or as I do in Jersey, I always nod to every passing motorbike or scooter…..most nod back….come on everyone, we are as one big family of riders and should stick together.

Greetings from Sydney, Australia. This is one of the best bike channels I've come across. Being in the same, shall we say, vintage as you guys, you are not only having fun but showing all of us other guys of the older generation that life is there to be lived. Bikes, companionship, mateship - what else do you need? I came across a nice tin sign a while ago that sums it up. "I'd rather wear out than rust away".

A friend of mine had one of these back in the 70s, bright yellow. It was never as good as the mk1 Chopper though.

Another mate had a posh US import (I forget the make) he had a tank slapper episode going down our hill at some speed, ended up in hospital 😕😕😱 I then was lucky enough to get my first new bike, a Grifter, in blue, did my advanced cycling proficiency on that😊👍✌️😉
