When it's finished give it to @SamPilgrim to see what he could do with it. He's done a few videos with a Mk3 Chopper like this one. The Mk1 & Mk2 Choppers had a long seat and could carry an extra mate on the back. This Fake Taxi Chopper definitely needs another person on the saddle too! 😜 15:53 Humping Fake Taxi Chopper?! 😱

Yeah, that's awesome. Ive been thinking to fit a motor like that to a small bike with 20" rims. Seems like it would be more torquee, and I really like the small size of them. I wanted to shunt my ebike, but I chose to get a smart BMS limited to 20amps. Which I think was a good decision for reliability.

In Australia back in the 70's we replaced the little front wheel & forks with 26 inch and a 36 tooth rachet. Also changed the ape hangers for Cow horns., Basically made it look like a Speedway bike. It made it handle ten times better and was a real wheelie machine !!

That's the coolest looking bike I've seen you make! But you need to find a way to tone down the throttle from a standing start. Or just find a way of toning down the power generally, it doesn't look very safe even when you don't wheelie!

4:40 - You really need some socket wrenches because that giant wrench is not a bike tool.... LoL 10:36 - That's the scariest way to do a shunt mod... You should solder in a small piece of 10G or 12G wire as a shunt mod because that solder can break off and cause problems in the controller. Just FYI for anyone wanting to do it at home... You can find a bunch of videos on KZbin that confirm wire is better than soldering. 11:06 - I was NOT prepared for the 'Fake Taxi' stickers.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can't believe he didn't use any torque arms on the rear axle so I'm hoping he does that next video when he does some more work on it.... 😉😁

Next time you do a shunt mod, the best thing to do is bridge the top of the shunts with copper wire like from a coxial cable, or use thin copper wire, & wrap around 1 half of the shunt & then solder, a lot less cold go wrong & gives a way better solid connection

When I was 8 years old I broke my sternum on my chopper. This was back in 1984. I lost control and hit a lamppost. They aren't the easiest bikes to ride, quite quirky from what I can remember, probably due to the fact it's an extreme mullet bike. I haven't watched all of this video before commenting because I want to wish you luck, wear a helmet.
