Why aren't people being frank with Triple C & telling him that he needs to beat a relevant guy (Yan at 35, Emmet or Yair at 45) to get a title shot like TJ did vs. Sandhagen. The UFC doesn't seem to be willing to give him a title shot off the couch.

Why didn’t Henry just call for a FW title fight after the Cruz match instead of retiring and hurting his own drawing power? Henry misplayed his hand so badly or he could have made big money in the UFC. I get he left because the money wasn’t there but if you know you are coming back anyways just keep going. Now he is going to make less in his return than when he retired because he is no longer a defending champ.

Cejudo was getting hot could have tried to be a simultaneous triple champ but no he “retires” to try and get more money? Now he’s begging for a title fight.... Man what a bad move...

Volk wasn't a big name at the time, didn't look impressive or amazing like he does now, with that buzz being built up Cejudo now has a chance for legacy in beating Volk who is now considered modern FW goat as well as having relatively similar build as him.

Henry vs Emmett for IC. Hear me out, Yair is on a one fight win streak. I don’t believe he’s ready for Volk. Looked great against Max but Max took him down. Brian got him to the ground and Brian isn’t known for takedowns. If Alex gets Yair down, I think could be vs Frankie Edgar all over again potentially. Emmett is on a 5 win streak, Henry has all the accolades and the complaint has been Henry needs to face a top contender first. Here we are with Josh Emmett and it can be a contender while fighting for Gold. I’m just saying, think about it. Yair is an option too but Emmett truly deserves it if we are talking about deserving it between Yair and Josh. But Yair vs Henry IS a bigger fight. Balls in your court if you want it Champ.

@@youngmillionaire7480 Dana just isn’t going to say yes to Volk vs Henry. That ship sailed, he was interested a year or so ago. I love Henry but I understand as to why they don’t deem him marketable enough yet. Accolades and all the drawing power isn’t as there. But it can be, needed to keep defending at least 1 more or 2 more times against the right opponents. Aldo, Yan, Aljo. He beat Cruz and TJ, although TJ was on the juice it was at 125 and Cruz was on short notice with Cruz coming off a long lay off. Legends of course but it unfortunately wasn’t enough.
