@@karenberhiet6955 YEAH. Ya Know? When I was 15, I was out running around with a friend and we pulled up to a signal light, was after 11 p.m. so they were just blinking. The one we pulled up to BUZZED with every blink. Dave turned to me and said, "I wonder why it's BUZZING like that." I looked at him, kind of amazed that he didn't know and enlightened him. "So Blind people know when it's RED." His response, Was just "Oh-Yeah." We got about three blocks down the street and he turned to me and said, "BLIND PEOPLE CAN'T DRIVE." I fell out. Laughed about that for weeks, actually, I still laugh about it from time to time.

The "Holderness Family" has a parody song " I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking for." It's about how men can't seem to ever find anything . If there's something in the refrigerator that's 2 in away from where he expects it to be, it's invisible to him. And he blames me for not being able to find it because it was not in the exact spot he's used to it being in.

@scottshanahan38279 жыл бұрын
tubekxb I caught that too. I do like him and was disappointed to hear him do someone else's joke.
@tubekxb9 жыл бұрын
Scott Shanahan One the challenges for any comedian now, in the age of mobile video and KZbin, is how do you make your own jokes or cover the same material w/o copying someone else? Chris Rock half-jokingly said that he wants comedy shows to ban video, just as they banned smoking. Good comics are always honing their material, and if you catch a joke that is not ready yet, share it on KZbin and "offend" someone, you get gun-shy about trying out edgy material.
@ComicNateFord9 жыл бұрын
tubekxb I would agree but Henry Cho started comedy in the 80's and hasn't really changed up his set since that time..but who knows.
@thebigdug9 жыл бұрын
I don't know what year, but Ben Bailey also did the lactose intolerance joke. So comedians are kind of forced to recycle jokes because there's only so much someone can talk about before you run out of funny things to say.

I'm Korean American and would feel somewhat the same way myself. I wasn't born here, moved here at a very early age and am pretty much completely assimilated. I do speak a little bit of Korean, but not much. It would be uncomfortable trying to converse with strangers in a language I'm not very good at (or in Henry's case, don't know), with cultural assumptions we don't share. Imagine going to a family reunion where you had several million relatives, and you couldn't understand anyone.
