Darriel Kyeremaa Don't take it to heart man. Our racism stems from plain ignorance and brain washing from the media. But we're coming around as we get more educated. And I assure you, if you've made Filipino friends, you're got yourself a second family.

From my experience as a black man living all over Asia, and being around them in the states, Philipinos are the most welcoming hospitable, down to earth, fun to be around group of people I've ever met. So, I married one lol. The older ladies have no filter when in discussion about certain things. My wife's mom asked me to come over for dinner, she said " You already know how we always cook plenty of food, and I cook extra fired chicken this time, because I know you black guy like it, and it's good" She wasn't trying to be offensive one bit ...I just had to crack-up laughing 😂😂😂 I know that info had to come from my wife

I am at the ER right now but my nurse who is philipina immediately recognized him. She is so nice and gentle she made me feel better. I have only had great experiences with philipinos. I used to rent a room in a townhome owned by a philipino family. They always treated my son and I with respect. They even invited us to their son's graduation and gave us Christmas presents. We lived there for six months. Left only because my youngest son was coming to live with us.

In L.A.: hanging out with your buddies, watching the NBA (or The Final Four) with fried chicken (or Buffalo wings) and Corona (or Bud or Miller or Coors).

Easily my favorite skit from Jo Koy. I love replaying this part again and again. I was expecting for the continuation of this skit. There should be a couple more punch lines at the end of this.

This is so relatable when you're a Filipino. I am one. Filipinos are more racist than americans seriously. And we always insult each other even ourselves.
@AngryKittens
@AngryKittens 4 жыл бұрын
The difference is that the "racism" in Filipinos isn't mean-spirited. It's just stereotypes taken from movies. There's no hate or anger involved.

It’s more about colourism than racism when it’s directed amongst ourselves. Not always a joke either, try getting a job when you’re dark, especially in a face to face customer service role.
