Absolutely brilliant…I remember seeing Henry Cole through a door window at the Motorcycle Show NEC Birmingham. When he came out of the private area I said hello & he was the exact same person as you see on TV. What an amazing individual who gives everyone the time of Day. I remember taking a selfie with him & my hands were shaking so much the pic was fuzzy as hell.. He just laughed until we got a good one! 👊 love him to bits.

Henry Cole is a very interesting character, and he has definitely brought more great advertising for motorcycling in the UK than anyone else has ever done. We especially need that now more than ever with all the motorcycle licence legislation for younger riders, not to mention astronomical insurance costs. So as a lifetime biker myself, I would like to thank him for that, and keep up the good work.

Absolutely fantastic. Henry's undersells himself a bit on TV with his slightly buffoonish "persona". He seems like a really genuine, humble character with a thousand stories to tell. I've always watched his stuff (except find it fix it, fk it, that's for old folk) and will have a completely different view of him in the future. All of us old bikers with an unexplainable addiction of our own are indebted to him for bringing out hobby to the eyes of the general public. Thanks mate.

My first experience with m/cycles was at the age of 5 when my dad used to take me to school and back on the back of his BSA (?), in the days before helmets. I used to work for a m/c training scheme in the Midlands. Toured southern Ireland on honeymoon on a BMW K100RS. I don't drive or ride bikes but I love watching Henry's programmes. Top bloke as they say. An honest, tea swilling, bearded chap!

Thanks to Henry he has put motorcycles on the map. People have got exposure to bikes. Henry often comes up in conversation on pub bike nights. Like him or loathe he is now a household name. Personally I think he's great. I've been bikeing 51 years yet henry has boosted my enthusiasm. One day I'd like to meet Henry. Great guy.

Brilliant. I read Motorcycle News & Bike magazine religiously while lusting after a bike. My first one, a Honda 250, I bought brand new and learned to ride it in the car park behind the dealer's shop. The bike scene in the 70s and early 80s was exactly as Henry described it. You can't help but like him, he's a star, even if you'd want to slap him at times. He's obviously an obsessive, a bit like a posh version of Mike Brewer! Note to Brooklands: have you had Mark Williams in for one of your interviews? He founded Bike Magazine and has had quite a life. Would make a great guest if he's prepared to do it.

Met Henry at tha National Motorcycle Museum in October last year (yes, 2022 is last year now 😮😛😝) He was great but he is a bit like a butterfly, he was supposed to be meeting me and my mate (among lots of others) but he saw someone further back in the queue and bolted right after signing our posters 😂 Poor old Skid had to fetch him back. Sam Lovegrove and Allen Millyard were also there . Plus Steve Parish gave us a nod and a wink as he went past us. All great lads with stories to tell that you could listen to for hours. Happy new year to all.😊

Quite enjoyable interview, I didn't know much about his past other than what's been mentioned on his TV programs and I can't get my head round why some motorcyclist dislike him, maybe they should watch this but I bet they won't remove those blinkers? As for Steve Parish? Well I've heard the name and can even recognise him but I know absolutely nothing about him other than he raced bikes, maybe Henry should interview him?

You've got to love Henry, he's a great tv personality and easy to watch where there's a script of some sort, but blimey is he hard work without one, this "interview" is testament to that. I don't know who's the more difficult to watch unscripted, him or Robin Williams [God rest soul] who was also a complete loose cannon during interviews, but both eccentric genius' without a doubt! . . .
