Henry Du Mont - Allemande du meme auter (6) (Bauyn MS) - Mr Bellicanta: harpsichord

Born in the Southern Netherlands, originally Henry (or Henri) de Thier (1610 - 8 May 1684), this composer of the 'French school' adopted the name of Henry Du Mont (or Dumont) after moving to Paris in 1639 to become organist at Saint Paul.
This is the last of the six Allemandes by this composer contained in the Bauyn manuscript, alongside pieces of Louis Couperin, Chambonnières and others.

Thank you Riva! I think that the 1/6 comma meantone also helps with the C major effect and my harpsichord likes this temperament :-)
