Henry Gilbey Introduces the New Gravity Stick Lures from Savage Gear - Bass Fishing

Henry Gilbey talks about the new Gravity Sticks, a brand new range of soft plastics from Savage Gear designed specifically for bass fishing.
Lure fishing for bass is becoming ever more popular as more and more anglers discover how much fun a lighter and more technical approach to fishing can be. This new Gravity Stick range of soft plastics have been designed with Henry Gilbey from the ground up to be the perfect lures for rigging on our 6/0 weedless hooks and fishing over all kinds of ground - estuaries, reefs, rocks, beaches etc. In this video Henry talks through the three different Gravity Stick soft plastic lures - Pintail, Pulsetail, Paddletail - and he shows you how to rig them and how best to fish them.
There are five colours to choose from: White, Wakasagi, Khaki, Green Silver UV, and Black Pearl, all of which are designed to be fished on our weedless hooks, with or without a belly weight. Henry also shows you how to put insert weights and rattles into the lures via the special slots in the lure bodies.
Henry is located on a typical bass fishing mark in south east Cornwall - shallow reefs, plenty of cover for hunting bass, it’s ideal ground to fish with our new Gravity Sticks. Plenty of tips and tricks to help bass anglers think about their own fishing.

three packs of pulse tails hit the mat 2 days ago, wagassaki, white, nd khaki unfortunately 3 days into one months possibly two of lockdown, so field test on hold, but cast very well, rigged them up on vmc mystic preds HD 7346 7/0 sb nice fit, like the look and feel of them. here their up against spindleworm and xlayer, we shall see, but nice work H ptr

Hi Henry, I bought this box of lures after seeing your video a while ago and caught my first bass in New Polzeath on a white pintail. Interestingly, I fished like I do some pike lures and let the lure wash around the rocks at my feet like a dead fish. A bass shot out from under my feet, snatched it and after a quick fight I had a fish I’ve been after for ages,! 👍🏻😁

I find getting a good twitching action can be difficult on a longer rod, hence in fishing jerkbaits and similar lures a shorter fast action rod is usually used particularly in the USA. Also in Scandinavian countries for pike with glide style lures. Do you ever used a shorter rod to work these baits if you're fishing them in a twitching fashion?

High Henry, I know this is from some time back but, do you tie direct to the hook or do you use a small link clip ? Hope you are able to help. Or get a tube of silicon sealant, or builders calk, stick it in a gun, hang it upside down and squeeze out however much you want to make whatever size pintail. For a pulsetail place something under the tube so as the tail end rests on it, and for a paddle tail do the same and mold into shape. For fish to investigate whether you lure is high-end soft plastic, or bog-standard B&Q DIY material they have to bite it. Then it's too late to do anything about it - they're hooked. Just saying. Henry when xactly did u b.come a xpert on bass fishing .was it with yourr mate graham from wexford ..while u were still makin programmes with rick stien .some of us were fishing for and catching good bass here in ireland .no sour grapes here .just can.t understand how most Irish guides originate from wales and england .h.ve had numerous good bass here in ireland .long b.fore it b.came trendy .
