* i was so lucky to see him live, front row, at Poet's on the Square in Memphis, TN. - delightful ear bleed !

I saw him play at a small bar in NYC circa 1978 just a couple of tables from the stage. He did Dixie Spiderman and Southern Band along with the rest of Plug Me Into Something if my memory is correct🎉

@@jimjones9840 - Show sound was awesome yet he never got much national attention. Probably because of the ' Dixie ' or Southern Band lyrics.

I just saw Henry last week. He was a Memphis staple when I was growing up. He did not disappoint!

After listening to this song for the last 40 years I realized it is a comment on his days with his college band Sha Na Na. D-u-u-h-h-h!

😒 this song doesn't sound like alice cooper be my lover or lou reed sweet jane. it sounds like a talented guy henry gross who wrote a damn good song. money is make believe pussy shit. and truth is born of the heart. not of the mind. bullys operate from the mind and vomit abusive falsehood. i love this song.🌪👻
