Very neat and light playing. You have a quick left hand that's for sure!🙂

THE RAG MASTER RETURNS! 🙌

Back in business! I'm no master, but I'm definitely hoping to record some more rags this year.

Very good Alex, as always! This was the most-recorded piano rag in its day. It may have been THE most popular rag at the time as well. Ragtime from Rhode Island!

Thanks! Wonderful performance. I picture my grandmother playing this for the silent movies in her home town. She said the films came with music, but it was usually terrible and sometimes the something they sent for the last movie. So, she just played what she wanted that made sense. Will never know if she played this one, but based on its popularity, she probably knew of it.

It's so neat that you're related to someone who had that job. Accompanying a silent film like that is a whole separate skill, and not one seen very often these days.

Wonderful! This is an amazing piece. It's full of great melodies that really give a full feeling when playing it. It's nice to hear it played with such a light touch. I usually find a heavier touch fits the piece better but it wounds great either way. The arrangement is great too.

Thank you! It really is an amazing ragtime piece and one of my favorites for sure. It's a lot of fun to play and it's one of those rags where every strain is solid and catchy.

@ I can’t thank you enough! I have been going through a bit of a rough patch lately and that piece really brings some calm and serenity into my life. It’s remarkable how popular that song was and how it’s virtually forgotten about today. Thanks again and God bless!
