Always amazes me when guitarists use their right hand as 5 picks. Having used a pick all my life I can only do metal/rock solo kind of stuff, but this guy sounds like 2 guitars at once, which is every guitar player’s dream

I learnt to play fingerstyle and many years later to play with a pick and to me using the fingers is more fun and satisfying

@@takeoff3047 I would recommend getting the basics perfected. After playing for into my fourth year now, and about to sit my grade 7 exam, I would seriously recommend making sure you understand every bit of theory and technique that you can, as it helped me massively
@williamroan55765 жыл бұрын
It amazes me what people do with picks, I've always struggled with them. It seems we're always enamoured of the techniques with which we struggle and impressed by those who demonstrate them with ease. Get a nylon string guitar and learn Bouree, it's a great launching pad especially for someone into metal because you'll realize at least a dozen famous metal progressions are lifted from that one song. Jeff Beck transitioned to pickless playing late in his life/career, no reason you can't pick it up, you're already relegating your dominant, more dexterous hand to the simpler job.

The Pink Panther Theme was written in the key of E minor. Henry Mancini intended it for his saxophone soloist Plas Johnson. This guitar rendition is by far the best version I’ve ever heard. In a typical band setup, the bass is the least noticed, it is the most noticed in this guitar arrangement. Bravo for a great performance! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
