Being an admirer of Henry Cow since yourh, this concert Is disapoiinting. It' looks like a formless improvisación game without The spirit of an Ornette Coleman. The melodic and rhytmic Harmonic work Is límited...the predictable texturas...O hope ir Is a beggining to return to The original spirit! Fred, you aré a guitar genius but be careful not to fall todo much un love with the freeform

Nice comment about lamps and ladies, that wonderful photo inside "Concerts". Dagmar, Georgie Born & the late, great Lindsay Cooper were something else on the live concert recorded outdoors, this is an unbelievable reunion.

If there is a band that is the high watermark of avant-garde, it’s this one. Musical equivalent of a painting by Salvador Dali, HC paints a landscape where all the clocks have melted, logic has been transformed and was deliberately obscured by apparent chance. Listening to it, it is a dense sculpture, despite sometimes a few drooling digressions, highly worked out of polyrhythms and musical themes which are in accord with the absurd and playful poetry of this composer 🙊🦊
