Rollins was always nice and happy to chat when I've met him here in the UK. Respect.

Henry seems a lot brighter and happier in the last several years than he was in the past. Definitely still intense, just not as stand-offish or harshly critical.

Holy shit. I just realised if they ever make a "Half Life" movie, Henry would make a perfect Gordon Freeman. A fully buff warrior dude AND an intellectual. Plus the man can rock a pair of glasses even tho he dont need them, without being a worthless hipster.

He has his own music/talk-show in America. He's also had his own band "Rollins Band" for the past twenty years. ;-) I've been to his spoken word shows twice. Well worth the money. He was on stage for about two hours non-stop each time! Amazing to hear him talk. He can go off topic a bit for ten minutes, then go back to what he was talking about without missing a beat. :-)

@i3u7n5 "We". I (an Australian) am not guilty of anything people may have done in the past. Nor is Henry guilty of what past Americans did, and nor are you guilty of what people have done in the past. It's incorrect to assume people of any particular race guilty for what others of that particular race may have done in the past. Everyone is an individual. (and no-one chooses which race to be born into)

If Henry Rollins were president, and an incident happened like it did in the senate when that Senator from South Carolina yelled "You Lie!" at Obama, Rollins would have jumped over the podium and kicked that guys ass. C-Span would be my favorite channel.

@jublywubly Australia isn't a military power that uses it's global clout to effect political change. That's where the difference lies. I don't think he ever attempts to make amends for things that happened in the past, only ensure that people understand that what the american administration does and what he american people want are often two different things.
@cato77783 жыл бұрын
Didn't John Lydon say not that long ago that Rollins "had alotta great things to say n I admire the man,BUT,just can't STAND the music nor understand a fkn word he says!".Lydon showin his age there.even tho John may have lost SOME of his original edge in recent years he can still make a good point.in this instance.whats the point of having such important things to say n being able to express n articulate those thoughts with such powerful n intense level of intelligence n integrity (as Henry does) if many folks cannot understand over all the yellin 🤘😡🤘. seriously tho.Rollins FTW.if twernt agnst my faith to do so I wud immediately craft an idol of the man for worship 🤔😇🤔😇🤔
