i think he meant he was a dad that cared deeply about his kids, and not that he taught them hate. they knew he loved him, and they could handle a gun. lots may disagree, but i know a 3 gun shooter who has been a shining star since age 13, and empowering a kid to be able to protect themselves from an element that would like to take them, or kill them when they know the kids are alone, to me, thats good parenting. i hated everything that character represented until he was saying his last words to his kids. then i told myself that he wasnt pure evil. he was likely brain washed and abused in his backstory. i have been around several motorcycle gangs, including a couple of the worst in the nation. they trafficked in everything from pot to people, your imagination of the evil they could do wouldnt cover what they still do to this day. i had relatives that had run with them in the 70's and seen how they responded to people that didnt show them respect or listen. used to follow the midwest motorcycle rallies from 99 to 2003. a group of sons popped down, made a large area theres, then it got flooded with other members. i could see the different ranks and chapters stepping in to pay respects or make deals. in a sea of 10,000 bikers, it wasnt hard to spot a hand off, it was impossible to chase down. i was sitting off the edge of the road. there was a guy standing on top of a cooler. it was a pelican cooler, high end shit back then. one of the sons walked up, told the guy to get down, have a seat, he was blocking the show. the guy said ok. ten minutes later there were some topless ladies raiding the stage. the same guy walked up, and told the guy he shoulda just listened. pulled out the biggest D cell mag light they make, and beat the guy so bad, he broke a femur, some ribs. punctured a lung, broke his nose there were teeth in the blood on his shirt, and im sure he was purple head to toe. one friend ran to get emt on the spot, i got the eye warning from the other friend that i had someone coming up on me. i was holding the guys leg to prevent any artierial damage. we had extensive first aid at work, and its never been anything but a god send. the guy came back, pulled me up eye to eye. i told him, "sir, hands off now, please" and he gave me a half step and asked me what i would tell the officers. i said that i didnt see it happen but i thought the 3 dressers leaving in a hurry spun him and hit or run him over. i just heard screams and began some first aid. he called me a smart kid. i told him i know the groups, im no stranger to any of the locals and i hate lying but in certain cases its smarter. those guys gave me and my 2 friends solid silver eagle holding crossed rifle rings. mine had gold flags, the othes didnt. dunno if it had more meaning than being respectable, but i kept the cooler til the weekend was over, tried to return it to the guy, and he told me to keep it. he wanted no memory of the weekend. i told him if anyone wearing anything with the word "chapter" on it, just do whats told, or move out of sight. so i got this awesome cooler i took to work, and as a welder, we had some crazy hot days. i gave it to the HR people so they could come around with fresh fluids a few times a day. it was wider than their golf carts. so i tried to make some good of it. never had desire to join up. i lived hard enough growing up. though somehow i got put in the local paper about being in the local "trench coat mafia", post columbine. i had a nave pea coat, and black leather trench coat, i liked them. thats why people knew of me, but never knew me. i still run into a handful of those guys a year, and tell them, even if you know my family, leave us alone. dads memory is gone, and im in no state to play, im out of any circles and just enjoy looking at bikes and women. they seem to respect it.

Yeah he was very good in this show. I wonder why Sutter chose Rollins. I'm not a fan the music Rollins has been in and he seems like a nice dude in the few interviews I've seen. Rollins had that weird white supremacist look and demeanor in the show and pulled it off even though he's as far from that as possible. That's good acting.

Henry´s been around some hardcore people, he´s such a hardcore dude that when he toured with The Exploited, Wattie would bully him constantly , one time with some pellet gun , making him run hardcore .

He’s just super intense in whatever he does. So it was easy for him to look like an angry racist. But on the flip side- his intensity also showed how much he loved the kids on that show as well. He was a good fit for that character based on intensity.

Define good because the guy’s last lesson to his kid was “Don’t ever talk to the cops.” And if the character really cared about his kids he’d give them a good life.

I would imagine his concept of a "good" neo-nazi father was that he genuinely cared for his son. He called him "buddy" on the phone and was raising him on his own, I'm assuming, as there was no mention of a Mrs. Weston. He was "good" in his own neo-nazi mind, as that is one of the ways racism spreads, is from those you look up to.

The actor who played Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th reboot would be in costume and intensely in character before the cameras would roll, seething, looming and breathing heavily. It got into the heads of the other actors. Roll camera, and these poor actors would swear they were legitimately about to be killed. The director cuts the scene, and Jason pulls his mask off, cool as a cucumber and asks, "hey, are you thirsty? Wanna get something to drink?"

I never cared for Henry's music so I basically ignored him, but then he started showing up in movies and on TV and I have to say, he is a pretty good actor! I just watched his movie, "He never died" and if you haven't seen it do yourself a favor and watch it. It's not overly gorey, not really at all in fact. I say that because the way they depict the movie on Netflix you would think it was going to be quite gorey. I won't give anything away but man who his character truly is was a shock!! I never expected him to be that person! The movie was a little funny but very good and suspenseful overall. When he came on to SOA I was a little disappointed, I just couldn't see him playing such a role, but man he pulled it off and he did so with aces high!! I think Henry doesn't understand that he was thought of by Sutter because that whole punk scene goes hand in hand with white supremacy, it was the music of the KKK and all that stuff and so one might assume Rollins would be a good fit to play such a character, maybe Sutter thought he really was a racist? All I know is they need to play a Dallas on us and have it all a bad dream of one of the characters and start that final season over again like that and not have our guy get squashed by a semi!! SOA was a great show and the characters were so believeable. Jax was played flawlessly by Charlie H and I loved the show so much.
