It's nice to see some other moms packing healthy lunches for their kids. Aurora prefers packing our own over the "hot lunch" at school.. but she pretty much just wants the same thing every day: cheese and lettuce sandwich, pretzels, and a yogurt with fresh fruit. Makes it easy for me though :)

God Bless little Henry, as I struggle to regulate my sugar now in my 50's I'm one of those people that crave sugar UGH. So proud of Henry for eating so healthy

Judy Eagan I think it helps that he was only 2 when he was diagonsed so he never had much for sweets and he just isn't a huge fan. Evan..he LOVES sweets! Chocolate especially!

I always do the lower carb snack so no insulin!! Yay!

I really like you sharing Henry's lunch!! I was wondering what happens with the insulin if Henry does not eat all of his lunch?

Amy how do you get Henry to eat those delicious lunches or does he come home with some left over? What are the rules at your schools on peanuts and peanut butter? Our schools we are not allowed to have anything pertaining to peanut butter or nuts all our lunches have to be nut free.

Does he eat all you pack him? I pack Cecily about the same amount of food but she never eats it all. I feel like I'm over packing her food lol.

Mel Art He eats everything I pack always. :) It's different though because he gets insulin so it'd be a challenge if he didn't eat everything.
