So! After a long time, I come back with a new and original episode!
This time featuring Henry!

Henry still proving that when you think he's down, he gets back up! It's sad when you notice he gets zero attention by the show's writing staff, yet the fanmade content does a great job utilising his story potential. Fanmade also does better at keeping him in character.

Nicco's Trains I think what makes Henry such a likeable character is because of his deeper and more complex character traits. He can act grumpy in his banters with Gordon and James, but is also kindhearted and cares about stuff like the forest or his friends. Balance the two sides together and it creates a very well-rounded character with a lot of story potential. His backstory is also another trait that formed his popularity with the fandom.

All was going well but then there was trouble. James had broken down while double heading a goods train with Edward. Edward couldn’t put James in a siding as James was bigger than Edward. Both engines were stuck but they knew that they need to get off the main line before Henry comes in and crashes into the train. But Henry was going a little fast but when he saw the brake van, it was too late. Tho he brake with all his might, it wasn’t enough to avoid a catastrophe.

I love this story and the payoff with Gordon. Also like how in-character the engines at Tidmouth were. I can’t tell you how many times I see Gordon being too sympathetic or Edward being too cold-hearted in other stories. Well done on this!

I love how when Henry pushes Gordon up the hill you re-organized the music score so it has a primary line and a secondary line so it feels like two engines are working with each other. Love the episode too, well done!

"Pipes felt clogged" Sounds like scale built up in Henry's boiler. It's actually a common issue with steam locomotives, dissolved compounds in the water end up building up on the inside of the boiler. There's ways to clear it out but it takes time.

This episode showed a lot of promise! I really enjoyed it! If I could give some constructive criticism, I think perhaps it would help to let the music play through a bit more to a natural conclusion rather than cutting it off early and abruptly at times (if that means adding a few more shots, so be it!). I did really like the angles and music used though, good job!

While the episode was good, that ending was way to abrupt. It was basically like the story couldn't be bothered anymore, and we never really found out what was wrong with Henry, it just grants a serious lack of closure in my eyes.
