This ending makes the Govt. look terrible, they attack without evidence and they get in a shoot out with The Wall, a political nightmare that would benefit the Toppats, plus them totally failing doesn’t help. However losing Geoffrey and other Toppats is rough. Henry gets to do what he does without the stress of leadership, with his own hat, plus a clan is basically a home. The shoot off between the factions is pretty epic, overall a pretty good ending.

You not cooperating with the government is actually good. Charles and gale force assumed Henry went rogue when he went in the vault, despite the fact vaults of criminal clans often contain evidence the very thing Henry was sent into the airship to get. The government then proceeded to attack the airship unprovoked with no evidence to back up their attack. Also some government soldiers misidentify tanks from the wall as Toppat reinforcements. I wonder how they are gonna explain all that?

You can’t bust the Toppats as a whole, with stuff from the vault. Yes, fingerprint testing and photo evidence of the vault could bring you a few Toppats but there’s no way the Toppat leaders were touching that stuff. You don’t bust hard enough targets, before the Toppats are on high alert. Also, Henry has the reputation of being a tad ‘money-fingers’ thanks to the Tunisian Diamond. It’s not unreasonable to believe that he’s grabbing tons of cash, which isn’t sanctioned within the job (just because he’s working for the military, doesn’t mean he can do as he pleases), as opposed to grabbing stuff that can be strong evidence against the Toppats as a whole.

I think there are worse endings, such as Valiant Hero (Killing off Charles, who everyone loved), and Toppat Civil War (Ellie is not friends with Henry, the Leaders of the Toppats seemingly died, and it is barely considered a real ending, because it doesn’t resolve much of anything, which endings are supposed to do.)

I respect your opinion but I don't agree, I will show my opinion on pros and cons with TR ending: Pros: - Henry and Ellie are both in action and ends up good, pity that there's not much Charles in it, but he is in different faction. - Reginald is still a leader, I consider it as the pro. Because Reginald is one of the best if not the best Toppat Leader, better than Henry in my opinion and infact the 2nd Sir Wilford IV which was the great leader, but Reg is more reasonable and he wants the best for the clan. - Most of main characters are still alive, Henry, Ellie, Reg, RHM, Galeforce, and Charles which I don't think he died by his helicopter being damaged, he was ok with it and retreated so I consider it as him being alive. (except Dmitri and Greg) - Toppats that implementent their plan to build a space station and go away from any governments trying to bring them down. - Toppats get Ruby back, I mean... Well Henry lost it, but... It's technically still with him since he is a toppat member, also Ruby was the only thing which Reginald accepted as accepting Henry and Ellie to the clan. It would be cool if Tunisian Diamond would be in toppat vault too (Also they were planning to steal it because of fake mayor being the toppat member.) Cons: - We betray Charles (funk the rest of gov't) - RHM is not a cyborg, it is his most powerful form, but it would involved with RPE/RPH routes so it's not exactly a con. - Airship got destroyed, ngl it was majestic vehicle.

The chase has led the red haired outlaw and the pure blooded thief to the Dogobogo Jungle where the Toppat Clan and the government forces are. Worse, Dmitri and Grigori aren't defeated...yet. The time has come now for Henry and Ellie to continue their life of crime or abandon it. After defeating Dmitri and Grigori, the two fugitives on the run have decided their criminal careers...under protection of the Toppat Clan. Upon joining, Henry was tasked to return the ruby he stole. After the return of the ruby, Henry and Ellie were official *Toppat Recruits.*

The most appropriate EtP and StD endings would be Badass Bust Out (Sneaky Escapist is too sneaky and Lawyered Up is actually too boring and doesn’t have the action) and Intruder On A Scooter (Again, this is not about being all that sneaky, and Just Plain Epic has a lot going on, but Henry just gets out, a bunch of this stuff were background chaos (Chaos not directly done by Henry) and Henry just stumbles into the diamond, which isn’t like Pure Blooded Thief) Just my opinion. All endings for EtP and StD are fine tho.

I think the choice to go with the toppats and basically the original plan of henry and elllie really improves the ending, just enough to pass pardoned pals.
