was one of the unknown extras back in 1997 for like five years, HuiGe is right, first six hours $19.20 (even if it was for thirty mins), there after every one hour OT pay... you can wait twelve hours never use you ask you go home, got paid as usual but damn bored. agent will page or call you once they need extras. Also took part in the very first Money No Enough, just to experience filming and see movie stars. after that got took part in Triple Nine, Legend of condor heroes (get to wear smelly costumes and makeup room shared with stars if lucky), Growing up, The Hotelier, 笑傲江湖, under one roof etc.. during break time actors might tok cok with you, some look haolian but actually stressing to remember their lines. shoutout to friendly actors like desmond koh, edmund chen, patricia mok, super talkative Huang Shinan & Huang Wen Yong (rip 🙏)

They are very natural on screen like Hong Kong actors… Sg actors act too much… in the movie Diam Diam Era… you can see the young actors and actress try to act… totally cannot fit into their characters… once the older actors like Mark Lee etc appears…. very obvious cos its very clear who did their homework/research prior to the filming, vs who just show up with nothing of value to add. effort. it matters. mayiduo's research on huige clearly wasn't as much as the other guests but that's partly due to the lack of info online, but at least he did show effort and interest in huige's career and attempt to create convo. hui ge look blur, act blur but he is not blur. never say out only..
