I remember when ET came out... I wanted to be Elliott! Lol Back then, I had a red jacket like Henry wore in ET and Henry being the same age as I brought it more as a sense of reality in my mind! Everything about ET was a lot like my childhood and was easy to relate to. The styles, the setting, and especially the bicycle scenes.. it was basically my childhood all except the alien which some of my friends back then, I considered as alien like! I think that's one of the many aspects that drew fans of the movie like me to was how life was like then. Like home away from home

I had such a childhood crush on him when I was little. I met him once on a set when I was doing movie extra work for a film he was in with Ann Margaret. I was experiencing a breakup with my boyfriend on a payphone between takes and he approached me and smiled and said hi. Of course I melted and felt why now in this moment while going through a breakup! ha! Cute then and now and of course he is such great talent!
