I always thought that Balthasar was dressed so richly and he was very black, showed that he came from far away. So it wasn’t just the run of the mill kings who were called to follow the star, but it was all very universal.

We see many depictions of white hair styles in medieval paintings but is there any information on the style hair black people had in medieval history?
