I know man started skating a lot again lately now at 32, im watching all these IG videos and YT vids like fuck i wish i had that when i was coming up, sometimes I actually get more stoked to skate when I watch 90s and early 2000s vids like menekamati, welcome to hell, and misled youth, than I do watching this insane shit because I can actually relate and can actually do stuff from those videos haha dont get me wrong I love this shit to death but I see dudes doing treflip overkrook nollie treflip out and I can't even compute the physics lmfao

i know the feels... well im 25 and stopped skating when i was like 15/16. i started when i was 7, and now looking at all these clips and what lads can do now makes me wanna just go skate. not do the heaviest tricks but just to cruise down the street feeling that breeze, few quick powerslides.. that's what i miss. shit thinking about it now, i might go grab my board and go for a skate x

Funny you bring up the stuntman aspect. That is what professional Snowboarding has came to especially street stuff. They are jumping off three story buildings onto 10 foot snowbanks, bonking the tops of street polls, and jumping 4 lane roads. I enjoy watching videos like this more than edited together skate videos, which feature very few bails. The bails are just as impressive - if not moreso - than the lands. Before I quit skating, I got good enough to learn that the MOST IMPORTANT skateboarding skill is learning how to fall, and that's continued to help me in my life ever since. So if I trip over a curb or slip on some ice, I don't ever get injured, because I have fallen over and over and over and over again growing up, and that muscle memory seems to never go away.

It always annoys me when they ollie off the last kink rather than riding it to the end. I mean, this rail was *awesome*, but it could have been better.

It was just a joke guys lol! This is an insane rail to skate... he still made it through like 12- 13 kinks? Especially a round rail... they’re really hard to skate.

Rest In Peace man! You will be missed but never forgotten, I remember when I first watched this video and how gnarly it was! Hope your still shredding somewhere where the pavement is smooth and the rails are gnarlym🤣😞❤️
