Do I revere this poem.🙏 Longfellow is like a prophet here preaching and inculcating us with a positive attitude towards life notwithstanding its vicissitudes and losses. My favourite parts are: 'Act--act in the living present ! Heart within ,and God o'erhead'. How splendidly the poet interweaves earthly life and spiritualism herein !! 'Tempus fugit ;Carpe diem .' should be our motto of life.
