A very smart and beautiful poem giving nature, in this case the waterfall human attributes. Though water wears down the boulders, and the stones aren’t strong enough to stop the water’s mirth...one stronger than stones, builds dams to turn the mirth of water into electricity and much needed water supply. The mind of man, for the short run supersede the will of nature.

As always iam gathering main theme of poem and poet biography briefly here it’s stream song central idea is that perseverance and determination can be stronger than physical strength. Lascelles Abercrombie ( 1881- 1938 ) he was British poet and literary critic, one of Dymock poets . After First World War he worked as professor of English literature in number of English universities writing principally on theory of literature.
