Building a crypto game is super tough. Asset ownership seems great on paper, but in practice hard to balance. If the game assets can be acquired organically and the game has a low barrier to entry, the assets tend to have low value and ownership isn't rewarding. If the assets are hard to get and rare, they have more value but the game gets unplayable for most people unless they engage in labor for whales, which sucks. Also, the practice of selling assets to raise funds and makes sense but almost always breaks the gameplay.
