4:40 fun fact: suppressors don't actually reduce sound all that much unless you're shooting subsonic ammo or you're a few hundred yards away. sonic booms can only be quelled so much.
@andyasbestos6 күн бұрын
Yeah, suppressed guns on standard ammo are often still loud enough to damage your hearing. Just not nearly as quickly as they would without the suppressor. That alone is a pretty good reason to use them. A cousin of mine forgot his ear plugs when he went deer hunting once, and his ears were ringing for weeks. Suppressed guns on subsonic ammo however can be so quiet that you may only hear the sound of the action cycling. There's no bang at all. Depends a on the suppressor of course, but the ammo makes an enormous difference.
@HuggiesMcSnugglebott6 күн бұрын
I remember hearing a special ops guy mention that the thing they love about suppressors isn't so much the sound reduction, they love the LIGHT reduction...when you're fighting at night, enemies can easily see where you are from the muzzle flash on your rifle, unless you've got a suppressor on your weapon. Really useful even if you're using supersonic rounds.
@tilted_axis98196 күн бұрын
People also like using them to keep potential hearing damage to a minimum.
@Tang-qi6zw6 күн бұрын
It does reduce the sound a lot to being nearly hearing safe, but this is still very loud. It’s not stealth-quiet, just down to not hurting yourself quiet. Sub-sonic is like stealth quiet.

AR= Armalite rifle =/= Assualt Rifle. Also, the HCAR after the AR is a battle rifle since it is chambered in .308 or higher caliber. That HCAR is chambered in 30-06, which is larger than AR-15 frames which use 5.56 or 2.23 (Buncha gun nerd nonsense to henya) also 17:40 you can posses used/unused or unloaded shotgun shells in Japan. It all comes down to Intent so if you had them as Christmas tree decorations then that is perfectly legal but as soon as you start buying primers and powder as if you intended to load the shells, then your home will be checked. I couldn't find any legal text explicitly mentioning shells/casings, the closest I found is an excerpt from the Ordnance Manufacturing Law that defines ordnance as "firearms, ammunition, explosives ... or their parts", under which a casing could be interpreted as a part of ammunition. Though I doubt that having a couple empty shells would actually be prosecuted, the laws seem vague enough that it theoretically could. If someone is more familiar I'd love to hear more or be corrected.
@westcoastwarriorsarchive79294 күн бұрын
@dinamitemaster I would assume "and their parts" would include empty shell casings. since the only missing parts would be powder and projectile.
@dinamitemaster4 күн бұрын
@@westcoastwarriorsarchive7929 Yeah, if that's the extent of the wording then any part could be regulated. Non-comic reader here, a question: If you saw Wolverine in half (vertical cut), do they regenerate into 2 Wolverines?
@zacharybartolo51116 күн бұрын
That's more of a question for Deadpool, which . . . varies, depends on who's writing. The problem with Wolverine, which isn't really a problem is that, his adamantium skeleton is practically indestructible so you can't actually cut him in anyway. Though funny enough to think about, if you did cut him in half vertically and two Logans grew from that, they'd both have half a skeleton made of metal.
@malucoblz5886 күн бұрын
By Deadpool rules, both pieces would heal into a whole person, personalities might differ a little, keep in mind Pool's healing is "stronger" than Wolverine's

As another person implied, it depends on who’s writing him. In one comic he regenerated from a single drop of blood (which actually was under very specific circumstances so it doesn’t always happen like that). It would imply that if the writer wanted it there could be thousands of him regenerating from his skin flakes, shedded hair, saliva, etc. and Marvel Comics would totally publish it.

Assault Rifles aren't a thing really. It's a term used by gun control activists to label any rifle that they say appear to be for war, or more simply "look scary". It's just a gaslight really. For example, the ArmaLite 15 (AR15) and the Ruger Mini 14 look quite different. One like what most think a modern weapon for combat looks like, the other more like one from decades ago or just for hunting. But they are both semi-automatic (which means it only fires one shot per trigger pull and loads next round for next trigger pull), have the same muzzle velocity, fire the same calibur round, and have magazines holding 30 rounds readily available. Guess which one more people think is genuinely deadlier?

Suppressors only help a little unless you use subsonic ammo. Which the man does. And it still pops like a firecracker and a half. Also people who say "assault rifles don't exist" are trying to lie to the law. Any fully-automatic handheld rifle with 20+ bullets per magazine is what we mean by 'assault rifle' because you can use them to advance on entrenched enemies.
@imahoare47425 күн бұрын
As far as terminology, an Assault rifle is any intermediate cartridge, magazine Fed, select fire rifle.
