I have HBsAg, HBeAg positive HBcAg negative, viral load >1 crore. But no symptoms, ALT is 55 in LFT. Doctor says it is chronic and start taking medicine. Yes you are very right. It is produced when virus replicates and is then secreted from hepatocytes. It definitely originates from virus within the hepatocytes. 😊

brilliant explanation. i know someone who was treated with a blood transfusion when the infection was detected in infancy in the late 80's. jaundice was one of the symptoms. she recovered and is now an adult. was she one of the lucky few who didn't progress with the chronic form?

Sir Assalamu Alaikum, I am a chronic hepatitis b patient with detected HBV DNA in copies 8.3 x 1000000, Fibrosis stiffness (kPa) 6.8 and ultrasound report shows in Liver: mildly coarse parenchyma. On visit Liver expert in our country, respective Doctored prescribed medicine: Tab Alenvir 25 mg. May I therefore seek your kind advice if this treatment is suitable for me without any side effects or not. Awaiting kind response please.
