Why is it bad? Do you want their cat to get run over, poisoned, or shot? Tell you what, when I was 6 we had an outdoor cat and our neighbors fed him poisoned food. He died a miserable death because of that. My friend also had a story where they cat was shot by their neighbor for trespassing. It’s better to keep them inside then to have them die a miserable death, get lost, kidnapped, etc.
