I was introduced to Jeremy's insane talent from Death Note: The Musical and became instantly obsessed. He can sing literally ANYTHING and embody any character. This is one of my new favorites. I can't believe I only just found it.

I listen to this CD incessantly. I know this show will never come to Seattle with Jeremy in it, which breaks my heart. In 2019 I bought VIP tickets to see him at 54 Below. Then bought my plane tickets. Two weeks before his performance the show was canceled. He got another job or something. 54 Below was kind enough to refund my tickets but it was too late for me to change my travel plans. He was the only reason I went to NY and I never saw him. Soooo disappointed. I don't know if I will be able to afford another trip to NY to see him in "In the Light"...unless I win the lottery. 😪 Something to add to my bucket list I guess.

I am literally obsessed with this musical. There are no words to describe how fervently in love with this I am. It is June of 2022 and I am still (im)patiently waiting for this to open on Broadway. This musical has reminded me of my passion for theater and why I love Broadway... It was always a dream of mine to be on Broadway but never had the guts to pursue it after having it drilled into me that I need to do something "practical" with my life. While I'm still pursuing theater and singing heavily on the side it's not quite the same... This has put passion back into my soul so thank you ❤️ is it too late for a 30 year old to try to live out her dream? 😭

I only meant that without the story behind it, it's not something that I personally can relate to. I'm very curious to see more of this project. I have been loving the music in various stages. I am curious though.... since you mentioned him being a skeptical/naturalistic/atheistic scientist... I am curious how he might confront a situation such as making a deal with the devil... one would think that if demons exist in this story, angels and God would exist... presumably, the Universe is the main character's stand-in? That's usually how people get around that in supernatural stories. I suppose it's done to be less controversial and such.
