His voice is just so very beautiful. I'm majoring in classical voice, but this man is one of the main reasons musical theatre holds a dear spot in my heart. This is a treat for me too, since here we get to hear a little of his classical sound, and man, Jeremy never disappoints.

Official Lyrics: A sky who knows my story, A lesson from above, A guide for my tomorrow, A memory of love. Her radiant beams of distant dreams, Her loving glow is all I know. In her embrace I was free, I was everything that I had hoped to be. She was light, every brilliant beam could waken any night. Now I see the beauty of her rays on every beam As they lead me on a dream toward her embrace. A love who knew my demons, A mirror to my day, A wife who saw my failures, A light to lead the way. As time rolls by and daydreams die, Her fading glow is all I know. In her embrace I was King, I could feel the loving life her light would bring. With her love every word I'd write would light the night above. Through the haze her perfect silver glow is all I see And forever I will be in her embrace. Now her touch is but a distant memory As she escapes my hand. Though she's gone I can feel her here And at last I understand That her embrace leads me on. I can feel her presence rising with the dawn. I will show I'd do anything to be the man I know. He'd remain forever in her arms where he's alive. In the end he would survive in her embrace. From now on I will survive in her embrace!

Warning unsolicited opinion: In this version, Jeremy's character seems to be singing to his wife who has died but in another version that I think is more recent, "her embrace" lyrics have changed and seems to be more sung to an other-worldly, like a god character? Not sure which fits better with this story but the emotion that Jeremy sings with as if mourning and trying to hold on and find strength is so moving. It misses the mark for me when it is sung to with other lyrics...

Out of the three performances I've seen of this song, I liked Jeremy's the most.
