It's been 41 years since I gave birth and I remember all the pain still. They say the best way is to squat, not on your back. I think it is just easier for the doctors. My second child was traumatic for me he was 9lb 1! I tore and had stitches, I passed out after giving birth to my second baby, I was in alot off pain and discomfort after birth.

My 2nd one, my daughter had a reaction to the Pitocin and my epidural stopped working after 4 hrs. So for 7 hrs I went natural, my daughters heart rate dropped, they had to put a metal halo around her head before she came out to monitor it. The kept turning me over and giving me oxygen. The oxygen was the only thing keeping it up. The cord was wrapped around her neck 3xs, I had to stop pushing while the tried to unravel it. Talk bout painful, I was vomiting between contractions. During all this my heart started to skip beats, due to my heart condition. When I finally pushed her out, the doctor said to me, if I didn’t push her out when I did, they were going to do a c-section.

Shadia, i remember after giving birth I had to have a few stitches. I felt. Every. Stitch. I told them I could feel it and they said "no you're just sensitive down there at the moment". And the discomfort afterward was enough to make me cry. Congratulations mama of 2! May your healing be swift and easy x

The talk at the end brought back all those memories of having my first, she's now 23! I fell unconscious while taking in the gas and air while having stitches, I came around hearing the nurse say "that was close" I never did ask what she meant but I can sympathise. I could hardly walk for a few days after, but seeing our babies overtakes all that pain. Laila and Rhania are so lucky to have you both as parents, you're so positive and loving, you have a beautiful family.

Congratulations on the birth of your precious new daughter. As for birth no matter how much pain you experience during labor, once the baby comes the pain and how it felt disappear. You remember you hurt just dont remember the feeling. If women remembered how painful it is we would never have more babies. My 2 young granddaughters and I have been fans for several years and love all your videos. We love watching Rania and Shadia along with others you collaborate with, especially Omar. It's a start, she's got to start somewhere. When I was three my sister took me out in the middle of our pool which was eight feet deep. They took me to the middle and said find your way back. And I found my way back obviously. My kids have been in the water since they were newborns. My grandchildren also was introduced to the water as newborns and was swimming by the time of a year-and-a-half. Of course with adults all around them. I love watching you and shadya teaching Rania all the good things that children should learn and have fun with

Hi Shardia and Moe, love the vlogs, when I gave birth they used an infrared lamp each day for only a short period to help the healing, it really does work, not just on tears during child birth but for many other health issues. They are quite cheap. I love the way Laila responds to your voice Moe, it's so special. Rania will be swimming without the vest in no time, she did well today. All my love.🥰

Blessings to you all! I gave birth naturally without an epidural for my second son. IT WAS SO WORTH THE PAIN!!! The baby had no late effects from the epidural. I would do it again in a heartbeat. ❤❤

I did natural with both of my big girls. 9 61/2. 9 10 That was a breeze. The pregnancy is what was bad for me in bed for three months before delivery.

Bless you Shadia, i was induced, no pain relief, went from 0 to 10 cm in three hours, it was scary, agony, and i had a tear 😢 it is a crazy experience, but thankfully everything was ok, stitches painful Oouch. Best wishes for a good recovery, and enjoy little Layla's newborn days.

i completely understand what you went through. My first son was a natural birth despite me telling dr's i couldnt. My son got stuck and i had to be cut both ways to get him out. I dont remember anything after that because i crashed ( my blood pressure and sugar levels dropped so much i almost died. My son wasnt breathing because the cord was around his neck. Thankfully he survived. He is 14 now. My second son was c- section. You are both amazing parents. Laila is so beautiful as is Rania. xxxx

OMG! My mom and dad would take us on nice evenings to Midway Airport in Illinois and we would pick up White Castle and sit on the hood of the car and watch the plains land and take off. I am 52 now so it was quite awhile ago.

Lol i gave birth five times and once with a set of twins. Every time was different ive done an epidural, walking epidural, nothing at all three of the times, water, on my back, in the crouching position…..always different, lol u forget about the pain and u ask urself why dod u do it again and than u meet ur sweet baby. The back is actually only for the doctors to be able to see….its typically easier like on ur knees or crouching because ur opening ur hips up more…. Congrats on the new baby and healthy arrival!!!
