@@RetroWolf13 Hi, I had no issues at all with the customer service. As for the hills I previously had an E bike from Halfords and it struggled with the hills near me, this thing flies up them, it puts a smile on your face :). Good luck with what ever you decide to do.

You can derestrict it by pulling both brakes in, holding the thumb throttle on and power button at the same time until display starts flashing and then press the button to raise to top speed of 48kph.

Wondering if u can help. I used my new Fiido M1 for the first time yesterday, put it on charge over night, but hadn't charged at all by morning. Just wondering , when charging, should light on charger be green or red? Also should I have the bike sqitched on or off? Also having difficulty removing the battery. Contacted supplier, I've to make a video, but really just looking for a quick answer to these questions, if u can help?

Hi, it should be red whilst charging and green when done. Leave the bike turned off. Maybe the battery is a tight fit. Our one was a loose fit but the battery rattled about over bumps. It should come out if you pull it hard enough.👍🏻

@@andykirby I've sorted it! But, it will only charge when the bike key is switched to on position 🤔 regardless, its been charged 4 times now, and its smashing. Booked in to halfords on 2nd of June tho as the brake pad on the front wheel seems to be rubbing, makes a God awful noise from time to time, and can actually hear it whirring when getting up to speed when it's not making the awful noise. Probably done about 30 miles on it so far, on trail paths through woods, and to and from work 7 miles away, truly loving it. Thanks so much for replying 😁

Hi ya Andy this is just like my SAMEBIKE that has been altered a bit with bigger tyres and a slightly different rear suspension ... I got into the ebikes after watching your vids ..and was going to give it a go and build my own ebike .. but in the end opted to buy a SAMEBIKE with a 500w motor . I paid £760 for it ... to be honest it was a jump in the dark not knowing what to expect of an Ebike and at first was comparing the performance to my motor bike total wrong mind set .. once I got that out the way I totally think the bike is great for what it is ..I have district-ed it and she gives a fare turn of speed I am 5ft10 and 15st and she has indicated 39.7mph on a slight down ward sloping road .. I have took her of road and had a whale of a time to .. but I must admit after calming down a bit I leave the power setting most of the time round the streets on number 2 unless theres a hill ...and then theres the gears ! I am still learning how much they affect the performance of the bike ..last time I rode a peddle bike was 40yrs ago and that only had 3..but i now get why you into EBIKES ! All the best ANDY

I've done this before, scroll back through my videos, the process to get a bike approved and registered is called the MSVA (motorcycle single vehicle approval)

Ive got the Fiido D2s and its generally a good bike and very comfortable. But Id just like more speed..if it could do 25 or 30mph Id use it far more. If this fat bike could do 30mph Id get one..so just waiting to see what comes out that will do 30mph ish. Great review tho, cheers

We could easily mod it. Stick a 500W geared hub motor and a phaserunner controller. 48V and it would fly for sure.

I would never, ever charge a lithium battery in the house, people have lost everything because of fires, always charge outside with some weather protection, I put mine in an old metal dustbin and put the lid on

Charging large EV batteries inside is relatively safe if you always keep an eye on them. Don't charge overnight or leave them charging when you go out and they should be fine in this day and age. Battery management systems have come a long way in recent years.

They are only gonna really stop some clown tearing up the road on one of those monster scooters that can got 40mph PLUS. You only have to see the hundreds of delivery riders on souped up ebikes. Going 20mph PLUS everyday. To know nobody really cares.
