Always love your reactions and love the insight! I think this song could lyrically live in that one moment when you find out your ex who you dated for years just broke up with you and gets a new girlfriend the week after and you find out and you’re furious for a few minutes or a few days and then you move to the happy for them after you calm down and realize you would have never worked out and how you’re thinking irrationally lol PLUS her prefrontal cortex, decision making part of her brain hasn’t finished developing since she’s 19 years old lol!! I thought that way when I was young.

If you love the person, I'm agree that you should feel happy for him/her. But, not everyone feel that way. And even if you said you're happy for him or her, just be honest you still feel the pain and there's still bitterness inside you especially if the betrayal and break up is still fresh. You can be genuinely happy for that person when you are totally accept it and move on already. Olivia's musics are so honest and many people especially teenagers can relate it.

I have to disagree. You can love someone IMMENSELY and STILL be LIVID bc they’re a lying POS that u invested all this time and energy into and then they treat you like trash.
