Maybe it was him, and Olivia is hurting because of that but beside form a song maybe they want to keep that for themselves. And maybe wasn’t him, but if she said that then people would just keep looking, fans and the media are relentless and it can be really stressful. I’m old enough to be Olivia’s mum and am I such a fan. She really has excellent writing and I suspect that like with Taylor she’ll only get better with time. And the truth is that teenage drama calms down but those same heartbreak feelings she expresses, they’re the same no matter how old you get. By ex, the one I thought was my “red string of fate” person and who I thought I’d grow old with, he left me for his eye doctor (how pathetically adult is that?). So yeah, I may be almost forty but heartbreak is heartbreak and Olivia gets it.

I bopped tf out of the singles when this album came out, but when I finally gave the rest of this album a chance a couple of days, I came on YT and looked for people who were reacting to the whole album.
