I hate Jess must go thru this. But as a two time survivor of Chemo , let me tell you it does get better. Listen to the nurses, drs and other angels God will put in your path unexpectedly they will be so much help to you. With tips and hints to help you get through all the trials. I found slushy type drinks after chemo treatments a big help with sore throat and body aches. Praying for you.

Those end shots of Jess laying there, miserable, brought back some memories from April, when my grandson went through a 50 day phase with some nasty chemo for his leukemia. He made it through 'that storm' and is now in a 2.5 yr. Maintenance Phase. He's going to turn 4 yrs. old next week, and will also hit his 200th day. It doesn't seem possible that much time has passed. All I can tell you, is you have to just take it ONE DAY AT A TIME. During his first 6 weeks of treatments, they dealt with a blizzard, ER trip with him being diagnosed with covid Christmas Eve morning (whole family actually), croup, and all the chemo side affects. You already know it's not fun. I've prayed daily for you, Jess, since you shared your diagnosis, right along with my grandson. As a mom/grandma, I'll keep praying for you. I kinda already know what to pray for. Hugs to you Jess; you can do this.

My first treatment of chemo did cause real bad side effects for me. At least Jess has her Mom. I went through it by myself. It was really hard for me with no help. The next few treatments went a little better. Hang in there Jess. Praying 🙏🙏🙏

I look at the flood as a small blessing! You had to focus on cleaning up the barn, and it is less time to worry. (Not that a mother hasn't perfected the art of worrying while doing chores! LOL) May God help Jess concur cancer and the terrible side effects of chemo. I picture chemo as soldiers who go on the attack against the enemy, Chemo. They sometimes cause injury to the "host land of the war", but in the end, the land rejuvenates and grows more beautiful than before, and it grows stronger, knowing it was able to withstand an attack, and survive and thrive! Jess is meant to thrive, and use this terrible, painful, and sickening attack, to help others and be a shining example of survival!
