Andrew is correct about almost everything he says, even when you initially disagree with him but take time to think about it you realize he is right. It was actually a stream with keeko when they were discussing ID's and Andrew was mistaken about how old license photos could be, at which point I corrected him that people could have 15 year old photos or more due in particular to the DMV issuing license renewals curing the pandemic w/o requiring updated photos, and I was swiftly banned from his chat.

In Connecticut for example, people with an expiring license during Covid were able to renew it online without updating their photo. So there are people on the extreme end who got a license photo taken in say 2008, renewed the license online with the same photo in 2014, and then they renewed it in 2022 again with the same photo from 2008.

She wasn’t…she did all his medication and took care of his diabetes and tried to help him. The dr told my dad that he was only alive bc my mom had been taking such good care of him. His attitude got somewhat better. Keep on mixing with ppl outside of your family. You will find the balance. Enjoy your mom while you can…and your dad as well. It absolutely is a problem and not common to have a 70-year old father in ur teens. a father’s role is much more than just a provider with “established resources”. especially for a girl, its important to have a strong, youthful father to represent protections and you dont get that from most 59 year-olds with all do respect.

This is a really interesting topic to me, but people really do mostly think we looked older in the 1900’s here’s a vsauce inspired chat gpt explanation of why It can often seem like people in the past looked older at younger ages, especially when looking at old photos. Several factors contribute to this perception: 1. **Fashion and Grooming**: Hairstyles, clothing, and makeup styles from past decades often emphasized a more mature or formal look. For example, young people in the 1940s and 1950s often dressed in ways we might now associate with older adults. 2. **Life Circumstances**: People used to take on adult responsibilities, such as work, marriage, and raising children, at younger ages. This can lead to an impression of maturity that aligns with how we perceive someone’s age. 3. **Photography Style**: Older cameras and lighting techniques often resulted in more serious, less flattering photos compared to today’s high-quality, edited images. This can make people in older photos look more aged than they really were. 4. **Health and Lifestyle**: Advances in healthcare, diet, and lifestyle have led to people aging more slowly today. For example, modern skincare, dental care, and healthier lifestyles help people maintain a more youthful appearance longer. This combination of visual and social factors contributes to the perception that people in the past "looked older."

"Men will hang around and wait for the other person to leave" Why do you assume that *anyone* has to leave? The point of marriage is that it's FOREVER. In my personal experience - the man does everything to keep the family unit together, the woman sees another opportunity (women have far more sexual prospects than men as has been proven countless times on this podcast) and jumps to it, leaving her husband and children behind. It's disgusting.

Not sure what’s so hard to understand unless you don’t like your parents… Me: 34M, no social media, pretty solid dating life until my dad got sick. When people talk about witchcraft I think of the Showtime series about the woman who touches a historical monument and gets transported to a time in the past where the people there considered her a witch I believe. They had a local woman that was ostricized from society but they relied on her knowledge to help people with problems like unwanted pregnancy that no one wanted to talk about. For the most part in the past being called or considered a witch was a bad thing and for some women and men it had bad consequences

And especially for a woman it is probably the most noble job there is. It''s always good in general when they work within a family business because there's less temptation and it reinforces duty to something that actually matters. Yea, 'Berserk!' is definitely a great anime. Also, I'm surprised only one commenter mentioned 'Hunter X Hunter.' I've watched anime since I was a kid tuning in to DBZ on Toonami. I've seen nearly all the best of the best anime (sub only now), AOT included, and HxH consistently sits in my top 3, EASY. It's one of the few shows I can repeat watch and never get bored of. That's saying a lot. You'd be missing out passing it up. It also commonly ranks top #1 to #2 in most polls. One Piece is also in my top 3. And Parasyte is not a made-for-Netflix anime, Andrew! Wtf! Sometimes (it's rare) you miss the mark, my guy. Parasyte: The Maxim (the full name) is a classic. A brutal and well-written anime, adapted from a great manga, with a great story. Other essential-watches are: Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Demon Slayer (amazing, movie-quality animation), Samurai Champloo. And yea, Mob Psycho 100 and One Punch Man (same creator). Netflix's version of Baki is a guilty pleasure of mine too. All of them are worth a watch and won't be time wasted; great stories/great action. Only possible exception is Baki, based on personal preference.

Age gaps are just as dangerous for men. Some women don't show maturity in relationships until their options start to dry up at 30. Immaturity in women cuts both ways. A good 30-year-old man can protect a woman from the rest of the world if she's naive. Who protects him if they have a baby and she is fickle.
