His mistake was treating his wife as though she was nothing. Having forgotten her contribution over the years. Arrogance is more often than not a way of masking a persons inferiority. I business I always found that the ones who put on a performance of being clever were those who were climbing the ladder of susses, whilst those who were successful didn’t have to play at it. A marriage that doesn’t have love at its heart, is not a marriage. Just think, if he hadn’t wanted to leave her with nothing, he may have been able to retain half. But then it was his own arrogance that sprang that trap. An intriguing Court Room drama. ❤

For the most part, I appreciate the narration of this post. I do, however, have a bone to pick with the word "agape." In this narration, it should be pronounced with a 'long a' in the second syllable - that means, slightly open. The pronunciation in the narration was made with a 'short a' in both syllables - and the meaning of that word means "highest form of love" or "charity." The pronunciation offered sort of changes the meaning, doesn't it?
