It takes months 6 through 12 to now decide if you qualify for marriage. If it takes longer than that, there is something else going on. It can be many things. Many men have a "dream girl" in mind but can't really qualify themselves to get that dream girl, so he uses his placeholder for years. He will dangle that marriage carrot but never actually propose, or make efforts to overcome his obstacles to marriage. Please keep separate residence until after marriage vows/certificate, otherwise, you will be stuck being an unpaid maid, unpaid cook, unpaid therapist, unpaid sex worker, all while paying 50% of bills. Many women now are higher up professionally than their BF; he will use her for professional clout, you make him look better than he really is. Beware.

Many men think or assume that, a lot of women that have stayed with them didn't also "settle," for them, women usually tend to have more options than men. Also she had kids not long ago that changes a woman's body and it honestly takes time to fully heal..some of her kids are even toddlers. Plus she cooks, cleans and does the child rearing. I wonder if he takes any of that into consideration. Does he help her, when it comes to any of those things? A lot of the times some men want a woman to be able to do everything, but is simply not possible. If he wants her to look a certain way either he should be able to pay for that (since she is literally doing everything else around the home, and taking care of the kids) or take some of those responsibilities on as well. Maybe that would also give her some down time, to decompress and have her alone time to go to the gym, or for a walk or something. At times women, take on so much responsibilities from others, that we forget to take care of ourselves at times because of all the other stuff that comes from a marriage and having kids.

He said when they met she wasn’t his type…. He didn’t say she’s still not his type. He married her so there was enough there for him to commit 🤷🏾‍♀️ Of course, it’s painful to hear regardless of when it was. He should have kept that tidbit to himself. I know several men who didn’t marry their type (many men usually don’t), but trust and believe they won’t leave their marriage. Unless a man has enough money for alimony, child support, and to live comfortably with another woman, they usually won’t leave. Cheat maybe, but they know it’s better to stay put. The saying ‘it’s cheaper to keep her’ is an age old saying for very good reason. They have 4 kids and by he sounds of it he seems invested in her and his family at present. He more than likely said exactly just what came out of her mouth. She kept giving her husband the benefit of the doubt, so had he said something different she would’ve worded it that way. I wished that Ashley would’ve asked her what did her husband look like. I’m pretty sure he’s not fit. He started watching videos and he pulled out all of these things on her. She may have never talked about being a business owner. So why put that in your wife? How about he find the spare time in between jobs to start the business he wants. The fact that he had he’d believing he’s “high value” all because he all of sudden feels high value is crazy.
