My theory is that Celestia is allowing Twilight to recreate her friends to get the elements of harmony back. Twilight probably proposed that if her friends were back, they'd be able to protect the Kingdom the same way they did in the past. Only Twilight had a hidden motive behind it, her crippling loneliness. Because of this, she's gained delusions where her friends are back, having never left or died when in reality she's kidnapping multiple ponies to try and brainwash them into being her friends. Only she's failed, probably multiple times and Celestia is getting tired and worried about Twilight's methods, maybe Celestia didn't want the entire group back due to the amount of failures Twi had produced in her desperation. ALSO THE FACT THAT APPLEJACK'S NAME APPEARS AS FERN BLOSSOM BEFORE TURNING TO AJ'S IS AMAZING, LIKE TWILIGHT STILL THOUGHT ABOUT CELESTIA'S WORDS OR IT TAKES A MOMENT FOR HER TO FULLY TRANSITION INTO HER DELUSIONS IS CHEF'S KISS I really like this AU. Like Twilight isn't alone, she has others by her side.

So, it's interesting to find out that we're not in the future, as we theorized in the last video, but in an alternate universe where Twilight's friends died because of a terrible event. She hasn't processed the grief and now tries to replace them by kidnapping other ponies, with Celestia covering for her to avoid a scandal in Equestria.

I like the little details here such as the real names of the kidnapped (ponynapped?) ponies appearing before their assigned names in the textbox and the secret message in the lab, but I think I found another one. Throughout the channel's past videos that feature Celestia, her eyes are a pinkish purple. In this video, her eyes are red. I'm not sure if the red eyes are to signify restrained anger, but given how "Rarity" in the video has purple eyes as opposed to blue eyes like in canon, then the implications of Celestia's different eyes are grim to say the least.

I'm not sure either since we don't have much information regarding the incident that caused the demise of Twilight's friends this far into the series, but we may have to take note of Celestia's eyes when she makes another appearance in the series. For now, we'll most likely have to put a pin on that little detail until new information is released.

I love the idea that Celestia knows, but might feel so much pity for her star pupil amd the princess of friendship for loosing her friends that she let's her get away with this. Maybe part of it is also upholding the status of alicorns as almost godlike rulers who unless an obvious dark root takes place, are benevolent and to be trusted, if the public new about Twilights expiraments the distrust against all alicorn monarchies would be immense. Another aspect is that maybe she does believe that Twilight could actually succeed and use the elements of harmony to protect this strange version of equestria once again.

Hmm... i think Celestia's goal is to recreate the Elements of Harmony, so that why she lets Twilight do it, but Twilight herself just wants her friends... Oh, this is all so exciting! I also think Twilight herself can sees things in a distorted way, it's obvious that her 'friends' have gone through a series of experiments and maybe even surgeries to look and act like the original five, but all those scars aren't shown, or does Twilight deliberately not notice it when she doesn't want to?

Okay so here's my theory on what's happening. After the end of G4, it was established that Twilight and all other alicorns are immortal, but only alicorns. Twilight is the element of Friendship, and her friends mean everything to her. After they died, she had to keep up the act of Princess of Friendship without any friends. This eventually drove her mad. Celestia took control over Equestria again so Twilight could cope, but she only wanted things back the way they were even more. Celestia and the other alicorns agreed, as they all lost everyone they loved and were forced to watch as the world they loved was changing beyond comparison. Then Twilight had an idea. She created a laboratory in Canterlot where she'd use other ponies with similar ages and builds to recreate her friends. She somehow was able to get her friends consciousness and place them into new bodies, but the ponies she was using didn't always accept the new personality. Twilight created an entire fake Truman Show-esque Equestria for her new friends and anyone else Celestia and the others wanted recreated. As for the "plague" mentioned, I think that it could have been fabricated by the princesses to hide their disappearance, or it was real and was the reason for why everyone was changing so much. Or, the plague is a metaphor for the change. In short, Twilight and all the other princesses have gone insane, and are trying to recreate their G4 Equestria by kidnapping ponies and turning them into G4 ponies.

As for Twilight herself, it could be possible that none of this is real and Twilight is trapped in some sort of simulation. This could be why it's formatted like a game, and certain things don't appear like they should. For example, Celestia's eyes are red, not magenta, and it almost looks like Twilight had a phone propped up on the desk, when Equestria wouldn't get that technology for decades. The lab also looks more modern, and I find it hard to believe that her friends can be convinced they are really in Equestria when it's just the six of them and it looks like it'd be indoors.

Hi so this took a while to type out but i found this video around an hour after it came out ^^ All the hidden details that I've been able to scoop out so far Before i point out the video itself i would LOVE to show some appreciation for the AU name. "Eden" refers to the garden of Eden which is also cound in the book of genesis. Genesis without any debate means "Beginning". I think we all know the story of Adam and Eve. Not only was it a perfect place without evil, but also a place without disobedience. If youve seen the their videos from before then you should know about what this series is about. I wonder if Halo is trying to draw parallel's between the story in genesis and her friends because after Adam snd Eve had sinned and disobeyed God (Twilight in this context) and they get kicked out of Eden (killed by Twilight.) At 1:10 we can see a hallway leading out into another place entirely. I wonder if this is the Eden that Twilight is trying to create. A complete recreation of the key points that her friends used to hang out in, the place where their friendship *began*, ponyville. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if they called this the genesis project/project genesis. Backing this up is at 3:56 her treehouse is back to normal. And I wonder if the reason that Celestia is condoning this is due to the elements of harmony? " 1:29 On the floor to Twilights right is a paper that says "missing" and has a ponys picture on it have a scratched off X. 1:47 the missing poster on the bottom mentions a "Spring Breeze" as well. If you open up captions and go to 4:06 you see Fern Blossoms name on top of Apple Jacks name and 4:19 has "Spring Breeze" over Flittershys name. 3:37 The message here says "Celestia and Luna brought the news. Fluttershy is dead. She died protecting her animals when the curse overtook Ponyville. I keep replaying our last conversation in my mind, wondering if there was something i could have said, something i could have done. The council says it wasn't my fault, that I did what was necessary to protect Equestia." 3:41 I decoded this the best I could. "The quiet (dies? Its a 4 letter word that starts in "d") in ponyville. Were things really that perfect? Or was it all a lie" 3:42 the text style also change showing her "illusion" in this place. 3:56 her friends colours are off. Most notable is Pinkie Pies. Their colours go back to normal during the close up. 4:06 if you turn on the subtitles there is morse code that says "leave" (credits to other comments for translating this btw! Dyongi and sammy_kun_141 for being the first 2 who did so) 4:06 one of my favorite details of this scene is Rainbow Dash being notably uncomfortable. (Her eyes are as wide as Pinkie Pies). Rarity's eye colour is off. Fluttershy has the most bags and ill bring up my theory on that in just a moment. 4:05 remember how I brought up their names? I wonder if the longer their real names showed up the more "in character" twilight had seen them. So when "Fluttershy's" real name showed up on screen for a while it probably meant that Twilight wondered for a moment if it was in character for her to do so, especially considering her skittish personality. 4:16 I wonder if Spring Breeze is going to have a huge role in the series moving forward. If you watched the "escape" attempt video it mentions how even though she was in character for Fluttershy when worrying about an animal she still got punished. However she was kept alive because "she kept the others calm." (Its been a while i plan on rewatching the series soon). I wodner if she'll be the "Eve" in this story who'll encourage the others to rebel as well? I honestly love the character that is slowly making Spring Breeze. Fern Blossom/Apple Jack mentons that Fluttershy "Has the best poker face". Makes me wonder what else she'll do to stay alive and possibly escape 👀 Love this series Halo! Fern Blossom was last seen in Sweet Apple Acers traveling to visit Family in Appleoosa, where Applejack also had family!! Spring Breeze is a more iffy case as ponies can have names unrelsted to their relatives, but Spring Breeze shares a last name with Zephyr Breeze, Fluttershys brother!! Assuming Celestia is supporting/permitting the prpject for scientific reasons related to the Mane 6, that could be how Twi justifies it to her?

Ooooh, so is this a sort of post-infection au? Where Twilights friends all died traumatically because of it and sometime after it officially ended Celestia gave the go ahead to Twilight to recreate the elements of harmony (and partially out of pity for Twilight loosing all her friends) only for Twi to use it as a way to get her friends back but over time it became more and more unethical until we see whatever’s going on currently? Also that bit of static after ‘Applejack’ said that ‘Fluttershy’ had a good poker face was a really fun way to show that it didn’t fit the role she was supposed to be playing and nearly snapped Twi out of the illusion (at least partially/where Fluttershy was concerned)

Hm, Celestia seems to not only know about Twilight's activities, but may possibly be having her do this intentionally. Particularly considering the name of the AU, this is troubling. Unless I missed it, I really wish we got to see the true appearances of more of the Fake Mane 6. Otherwise, so glad we're seeing more of this story!
