Mario is easily one of the greatest gaming characters of all time. Mario is in a category where there's a dude in a green hoodie with a sword blowing into someone's clam all day, a blue hedgehog running at the speed of sound, a yellow orb eating food and chasing ghosts, and he's the one that stands on top of the genre? I dunno and dont care, but they need to bare in mind that Mario was first created back in the atari 2600 days, well before any of them were born. Back then characters didn't,couldn't and didn't need to have great backstories and lore, so critiquing him next to more modern characters is foolish. Nintendo took a character they had already featured in a number of games and expanded on it to give him a personality, im sure if they were starting from scratch they wouldve made him cooler. Edit: Even him being a plumber was from one of his earlier game and watch games where you had to fix leaks. They just incorporated it into his Super Mario games.

the thing i hate about these "unban requests" is when someone is explaining their reasoning or something, nick cuts them off with "OKAY IM READY TO VOTE" like bruh, let the person speak. its even more evident when its a woman speaking for some reason. these unban requests feel rushed, and maybe youre on tight time constraints, but whatever the case may be it effects the content overall. i also believe nick wasnt feeling well during this stream and can just tell he wanted to get outta there
