Her NEW Sportster Fairing! (Harley Iron 883 Memphis Shades Road Warrior)

Hey all, just to clarify so there's no confusion, the links here are to parts that say it fits a Harley Dyna, but these are the part numbers provided to us from Memphis Shades that we used to fit the Road Warrior fairing to Captain Ana's 2012 Sportster Iron 883! They don't have a dedicated 'fits Sportster' setup, it's pieced together with parts used on other models, but it all comes together and works on a Sportster Iron 883, as seen in the vid! I _believe_ as long as your Sportster has the same fork tube diameter for the clamps, and fork width to align w/ the mounting brackets in the fairing as a 2012 Iron does, the part numbers should theoretically work, but don't hold me to that! Your best bet is to contact Memphis Shades and ask their knowledgeable staff! 👍 (and tell em Blockhead sent ya!)

@@BlockheadMoto okay, i have a 2016 iron so its supposed to work? Last question the windshield you install is a 11" i am 5'10" thats its the right height for me. Because in the video i think you said better a littler more taller. Correct me if im wrong. Thanks by the way.

The black and red looks good. I have an iron 1200 that is white. I put a fairing on it and I kept it black (the small factory one is black as well). It gives it a great contrast.

I've had a quality screen fitted to my Softail Street Bob. More for looks than anything. At 60 to 70 mph it does keep wind blast off one's chest. Even more so with a small extention fitted. JP Liverpool UK

I was starting to consider something for a scout over the weekend. Went well over 700 miles and got beat up by the wind. I know they have a batwing but that’s a bit much for that size bike. I also took the GoPro off for a day after that trip was over. I didn’t realize how much drag it added to the lid.

My headlight wire that is plugged with a grommet in rear of the headlight bucket is pulled very tight and barely fit with extension block. How do I extend that like 1 inch? Same iron 883 but 2015. Man im so upset! Was Annas that tight too? Its mainly a problem when turning handlebars to the right.

I installed just the same parts on my '15 iron, and it all worked out. But the headlight cable is kind of "tight" when i pull the bars to the right... Its all good, but is the cable tight on hers too?

48 fork tube width is different than the Iron, and I believe the diameter might be different as well, so be sure to contact Memphis Shades and confirm fitment before ordering! 👍

Not sure the year range for fitment. Sent an email to to Memphis shades. Needless to say their response was very rude and not informative. All I wanted to know is this faring was available for a 2003 sportster custom. After that interaction via email I will never buy anything from an overpriced, everything is separate purchase company. So disappointing. Blockhead your videos are awesome. Keep up the good work
